Great venue with stunning views. Father-in-Lawâs birthday party went without hiccup. The staff were attentive, friendly and really couldnât do enough. The buffet was delicious. A great time was had by all.Thank you The View! Iâd also recommend their Sunday lunches too!

A year ago we would be pushed to get a table on a Friday lunchtime, the place was buzzing ⦠a year on and an ill-fated change in management in early 2018 and the place is dead. Another change in management and they have restored the meal deal (lunchtime menu) and the value and quality has returned, but as yet, the customers havenât.If you were a regular over the past 5 year, give it another go. I remember when we first started to go to The Shore at lunchtime back around 2014 we couldnât understand why the place wasnât packed. But it gradually got that way as the word spread ⦠sadly, it needs to happen again.A decent lunch for £5 ⦠a bargain.

Had an early dinner here, so we had the Sipper menu. Initially I thought it was a bit limited, but everything we ordered was super tasty! The burger seemed like it was home made with herbs, the fish cake was delicious and the waitress was adorable and very attentive.

The Grumpy Chef, Seaford is a Bistro run and owned by Anthony Masters and his family. Anthony has worked as a chef for many years and is now using his experiences in the trade to make fresh dishes for the locals of Seaford and any visitors who happen upon
We visited The Grumpy Chef following the recommendation of our host in Seaford. The atmosphere was buzzing on Saturday evening with the place nearly full, but service coped beautifully and was friendly and efficient. The menu is varied and interesting with plenty on offer for vegetarians, tempting salads, seafood, pasta dishes, steaks and much more. I was bowled over (pun intended) by my roasted tomato soup and the mussles were lovely (perhaps a tad too much cream). We also loved the aubergine salad and the wild mushroom arancini. Overall a perfect meal at a fraction of the price we would have paid in London for such quality food (and drinks have a very reasonable price tag too). Very Highly Recommended!

Freshly prepared, from high quality ingredients by professional and friendly team. This place is a treasure for the town
Not a name I would associate with coffee and cakes, but having got off the No.12 bus just round the corner took a chance and opened the door! To my surprise was a totally âbuzzingâ cafe and as a solo visitor was asked if I minded sitting on the end of one of their huge tables with the option of maybe sharing. No problem for me, always ready to chat to new people! Only wanted a coffee which was served promptly but resisted the temptation of their lovely looking cakes etc.On my walk later along the esplanade a local lady said the lunches here were excellent....so I returned later and ordered a carrot soup which came with a HUGE slice at âartisanâ bread. Is this the latest eating trend? Anyway it was delicious and as I was here on holiday and having large evening meals, this fitted the bill. Talking of which was pleasantly priced. It was interesting seeing the one chef on view preparing meals, which shows theyâve nothing to hide, I like it!

Lovely and cosy Tea room. Our cakes and food are all homemade on the premises...
Stopped here for tea and cake in the afternoon. Good service, good food and fair prices. Leaf tea as well. Chocolate brownie is excellent. Would recommend.

We visited Ollivers last night for a family meal with the kids and granny. As always the food was amazing! Lovely choice of dishes and the clementine sorbet before main course even went down well with our fussier child. The dessert trio was fantastic! Best of all for me was the pavlova although the syrup pudding came close second apparently. Our favourite restaurant!

A hub of interesting folk, humerous conversation , the smoothest coffee and a great menu all at affordable prices. This is why we would only visit Sub Station whilst on holiday in Seaford. We love this family run cafe and so does our dog... He doesn't get left out! The owners here make you feel so welcome whether on your own or with family and friends and with their flexible laid back approach to life there is always time for another coffee with them. Don't walk past, pop in and support them and keep the sub station alive. Thank you Daryl and 'mother' we will see you again in September :) you don't get doggie ice-cream in Kent! Booooo

We serve classic English breakfast and brunch with authentic Caribbean dinner and lunch.
Londoners wandering around Lewes on a september saturday looking for somewhere to eat with wheelchair access found Irma's tucked away at the far end of the high street.Situated on the corner of several streets we sat outside and watched the world go by.We were told that there would be a bit of a wait for our food. Around twenty minutes didn't seem excessive and it was well worth waiting for.A very good reason for us to visit Lewes again. Our very best wishes to Irma's owners and staff.Hi sigrid oThank you very much for your 5* review and great feedback - we appreciate it very much.Do come back and see us again if you find yourselves wandering around in this neck of the woods again. :o)Best wishes
