Our third venue visited for lunch, whilst on holiday .Iwent for double burger, my wife had ham salad and cheese. The food was as good as the other pubs we visited but in relation to the others was overpriced for no good reason. I had to go inside to ask a member of staff for knives as the outside station was empty he returned fairly quickly and dropped them into the relevant tray. We were sitting close by but had to collect them there were only two tables occupied so he knew it was I who had asked. This is hardly reflective of the prices charged. To recap no worse and no better than other pubs visited ,however a little overpriced. As there is a lot of competition probably will not bother again

Clavells Restaurant established in 2008, is nestled in the charming and idyllic village of Kimmeridge on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset one mile inland from the world Heritage cost. We are part of a family that have farmed in the Purbecks since 1962 and ar

We were given a good welcome by one of the friendly chefs.. He was efficient and very pleasant. We all chose the smaller portions for older people, which was a reasonably priced set meal. Two of us had pork roasts, with a good selection of perfectly cooked vegetables and apple sauce. One friend had cod in sauce and I had sausage, onion gravy and mash. Puddings were a choice of bread pudding, sticky toffee pudding or brownie, with a choice of custard or vanilla ice cream. All the food was perfectly cooked and tasty. From our team , Thank you for your review and that you enjoyed our 2 course seniors menu at £11.95 served every day , together with our famous carvery, also Monday to Friday 2 course seniors carvery at £11.95 and full price Saturday and Sundays, Please see our Winter hours on our web site

The perfect place in Purbeck for lunch, vintage afternoon teas, Traditional Sunday Roast Beef and, by arrangement, private dining in the evening too too!!! Come dine with us in vintage splendour. Sip tea in our pretty garden. Our food is always fresh and
Having read the reviews we managed to plan our walk so that we could finish at the tearoom in the middle of the afternoon (they have fairly limited opening hours). It's in a quaint building opposite the village green with a nice garden out the back. In addition to the scones and cakes they sell a range of local produce. The fruit scone and clotted cream were excellent but the stand out option was the chocolate chip scone with chocolate sauce. This came with a rich hot chocolate covered in mini marshmallows. It can get busy so try to book if you can. The mobile reception in the area is very poor so try to ring ahead.

The most photographed pub in Britain, nestles under the magestic remains of Corfe Castle. Large outdoor garden with views over the Swanage Railway and Castle. Simply delicious British food with a European twist. Locally sourced seafood with fresh produce
After the Terrible experience in the Corfe Castle car park, mother and I came to the Greyhound for supper. The food was brilliant, the staff kind and attentive. We will return! Lots and lots of love to you all xxxxx :)

This was a good find. Not that cheap but good quality food and service. Comfortable, light and the counter cake display was attractive. Welsh rarebit came with fresh salad and was very tasty. Home made scotch egg could have been a bit more âherbyâ but it was meaty and delicious. Coffee was well prepared and tasted good. When in Corfe again, we will make straight for this cafe.

Recently re-opened, a small, friendly, family owned public house in the heart of the village of Corfe Castle, dating from 1568. The pub has a large character rear garden with stunning views of Corfe Castle and the surrounding hills.
Wonderful lunch at The Fox. Delightful old English inn that hasnât been bitten by the gastro pub bug that seems to have ruined so many classic establishments.Friendly, efficient staff, unpretentious and tasty food, cracking ales and a beautiful and unsullied interior made this a trip to remember. We will return!

They don't have a website as far as I know. They are a pub with a restaurant in it.
Obviously a very popular pub as very busy but staff immediately found us a table, bought us menus and took our drink order. Food arrived promptly and was excellent and locally sourced and reasonably priced. I certainly would recommend this great pub for a good meal out.

As others have said this is a place to visit for a treat. We visited over the Easter weekend and had drinks outside before going in for our meal. For starters we had scallops and smoked trout - both very tasty. Mains we had sea bass and hake, again both very good, presentation was excellent. Managed to have a dessert pistachio cake and tonka panna cottta plus coffee. Washed down with a great white wineAll in all a really good meal, service was excellent, ambience was great - starched serviettes, and bright white table clothes, you don't see those too often.Would highly recommend.

First visit - strange mix of bar - restaurant - live entertainment ! Booked for meet up with friends but def not the place for a quiet chat ! Made worse by the noisiest table next to us in Bournemouth ! The food was good however - Would say its more of a bar with food than somewhere to go and eat - which is a shame as the food and restaurant area is nice ! Plus ordering at bar and then having to queue at the bar your meal to pay on a busy Friday night isnât the best way to get return business !! Good vibe but confused identity - seemed / felt disorganised Hi DinerSouthsea -you've hit the nail right on the head, I think - we're a bar that serves really good food, and have live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, which has been really popular with our regular clientele for the last 3 years. There's a huge welcome sign as you come in that recommends you order at the bar, although we're always happy to take your order at the table if you prefer - just ask us when you arrive, although we'll reinforce staff training to make sure we're all more aware of attention to detail as a consequence of your review so thankyou :)
