Histonion, Latin: Histonium) is a town and comune on the Adriatic coast of the Province of Chieti in southern Abruzzo, Italy. It was also called in the Middle Ages as Guastaymonis or Vasto d'Aimone and also Waste d'Aimone. Renamed Istonio under the Fascist Rule, it took the current name of Vasto in 1944. In the local dialect it is called Lù Uàšte, that is Il Vasto.

Great restaurant setting with views to the Adriatic. Popular terrace. Helpful, attentive waiting staff. My husband's steak was good, cooked/seasoned well. My food choice was disappointing although cooked well. Fried seafood on a pizza base ( said foccaccia?) with no oil or dressing was just all dry. Doesn't work.The wine 'Montepulciano' always good.

Sono 2 volte che vado al boga per mangiare jamon iberico la prima ho preso il joselito buono ma con un rapporto qualità prezzo un poâ elevato questa volta ho assaggiato sia il patanegra che il bellota e devo dire che li ho trovati migliori, veramente buone le patate bravas ed anche il guanciale di maiale. La sangria questa volta mi ha un poâ deluso aveva un sapore amarognolo. Un complimento particolare ai ragazzi di sala che sono veramente gentili. Tornerò sicuramente sia per il jamon ma anche per provare la paella.

Finally a pizza for celiacs in Italy, i asked for something with vegetables and it was very good!! They have a huge variety of flours, my friends got an Alabama with normal flour and a margherita with 5 cereals flour and said it was incredible! Really good desserts although portions were a bit too big and couldn't finish all ;) Definitely a to do if you are in Vasto! Keep up the good work guys!!!

Complimenti al gestore/proprietario per il locale pulitissimo e ben tenuto, da sembrare appena inaugurato. Sottolineo la gentilezza e la cordialità con cui interagisce con i clienti.Ottimi gli hamburger alla ventricina e simpatica l'idea di poter gustare tre differenti tipi di birra in tre bicchieri da 0,11 cl.Molto buona anche la crostata al limone.Locale consigliatissimo, ci torneremo.

Cena di coppia.2 Antipasti molto carini e davvero saporiti: Millefoglie con patate, ventricina e provola veramente ottima. Caprese con mozzarella fritta altrettanto (in foto).1 Primo nella media (spaghettata alle vongole leggermente insipida e un poâ scontata).2 Secondi: tagliata di Angus veramente veramente eccezionale (sembrava burro). Ciabbotto (mix di verdure e straccetti di manzo) anchesso ottimo.Personale veramente molto gentile e accogliente.Rapporto qualità prezzo Eccellente.Consigliato!
