The seafood here is of very high quality. We had the fish & shrimp wrapped in a banana leaf. It was absolutely delicious, & ranks as one of the best meals we have had in Brazil. It came with rice & a huge salad. The portion for one is really enough for 2 people. The porch is a very nice setting. The service was efficient, but not particularly friendly.

The restaurant is located close to the ferry boat to Porto Seguro. When we arrived, we thought we had taken the wrong decision. After looking at the menu, the waiter pushed hard for us to order the lobster, but we did not want. We ordered 4 other plates... The pasta with seafood was out of this world and the fish with hearts of palm was amazing. One of the best dishes I have ever eaten in the northeast of Brazil. The service could be a little better and spray anti bug, because I got mosquito bites.

When I arrived in Arraial for a longstay, I was walking around. By the end of the "Broadway" I found this really cozy and charming place, playing great music (Pink Floyd at the occasion). It was sunny and it's around my favorite place in town, the Cathedral Square with all its colors. It became my "personal office". I started going there about 3 or 4 times a week to finish a paper or doing final work analysis or just do nothing sipping an excellent beer or a good wine or sparkling wine when it's too hot. I soon became friends with the owner, Claudio, who treats his clients extremely kindly. All the staff is great, specially the waiters. Fernando and Andrew (Anderson is his real name I think) are always ready to attend you.I have tasted a lot of their very nice selection of beers; the empanadas; the Bolinho de Bacalhau (codfish and potatoes balls). I haven't had the chance to try their pasta yet but most people say they're great. So this is why this is my favorite place in Arraial D'ajuda.

Price is cheap but you get what you paid for!. If you want a quick cheap lunch this is fine,...for higher expectations this is not the best place to go

The Caminho dos Mares Square is a relly nice place, with several options of food and beverage and a band playing alive. So, some of the restaurants try to offer better place/views of the stage. The Armazem is on of this places, the have good food (squid and shrimp) but the price, quantity are not fare and the staff is bad, really, except for Debora who save the night with her way and attention. About the chopp, I really do not recommend.

If you are looking for the best açai bowl or a healthy alternative to all the pizza and burger restaurants around, go there. I had the best açai bowl ever at this place! So delicious. Also very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

So. Much. Choice. One large table groaning with salads and vegetables, another filled with grilled and roasted meats and prepared dishes and all of it absolutely delicious. I say all of it - I barely sampled 5% of what was available - but my 9 companions certainly attempted to taste the rest. Returned on the following day eager to try what Iâd missed, only to find a whole different set of dishes, equally good. And then we found the dessert room...... We stopped by for an early dinner and the entire family running the kitchen and bar greeted us and spent time with us as we ate and drank. Truly a wonderful experience. The food is basic but everything we had was very good. Can't beat the prices and the service. Would definitely return here.
