The municipality comprises the towns of Hamme proper, Kastel Moerzeke, St-Anna and Zogge. On March 18, 2010, Hamme had a total population of 24,026. We have celebrating my father's 86th birthday there and everything was very good (the aperitif, the starter, the main dish the desert, the drinks, The atmosphere was good and my father was very happy.

To summarize my business diner two weeks ago; Tastefull refined food at its best and served in decent sized portions (which seems to be often a difficult combination). Friendly and professional staff. Yes it is not cheap and total price is more than I ussualy spend on diner. But it is value for money. I will be back with friends & family.

Great ambience, great food, service occasionally poor - we had to ask three times for a bottle of water. The head waitress was very helpful and tried to accommodate my non dairy, gluten and yeast diet. The only fail was the cream as decoration on the berries I had for dessert. The location is breathtaking and sitting on the terrace during a long summer evening is immensely pleasurable.

We had dinner tonight with our friends from Caves de France. The food was stunning, from start to finish. The pigeon (main dish) wax the best I ever had. We were a big table but service was quick and efficient. A 10/10!

If you like good Fish, this is the place to be and good portions(is also important).Very nice view at the Schelde.Their speciality is "Paling in't Groen".Love to go there back, it's splendid!

Was here for dinner with friends, very original and Delicious tasty creations. We took the 4 course dinner including wine and Received 3 different wines and for every wine they refilled our glasses once, so they arenât cheap in providing you sufficient wine. However, the food portions could have been a bit larger. We didnât go home hungry, but I would suggest not skipping lunch at home if you plan to go for dinner here. Like another reviewer suggested: portions could be a bit larger. Or maybe they could offer also a 5 course dinner in the future. Despite the portion sizes I see no reason to not give 5 stars.

Always busy in 'taverne oud gemeentehuis' and the customers + rumours were right..good service & nice price setting. Menu with focus on grill but plenty of other things (pasta/wok/fish etc) are available.
