I came here on a Sunday evening for a meal. As I was on business it was a meal for 1. It is a nice place bit quirky but what matters is the food.. I know now why it is No.1 on TripAdvisor. The steak was cooked in front of me on the grill it melted in my mouth & the chips were amazing. I also had a starter & dessert both really good. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

A kind of make shift awning to keep the cold out for this eatery but the food is amazing. Had the horse in beer stew which turned out to be most delicious! Many locals patronised this place which is recommendation in itself. Exceptionally good service.

Don't worry about the look from outside, a warm welcome awaits you from the patron who is a little like Basil Faulty. Great local food try the pork,chicken,rabbit terrine it is fabulous. The wine is a good price also. Very near to the train station.
