This is the kind of place which Trip Advisor gives us non-linguists and non- locals access to. The person who took my reservation call did not need a name because, said he:"you will be the only English speaker". As it turned out I wasn't, but the other guy did have the look of a regular patron ( and did order in Italian). This is not a place to dress up for, and as far as I could tell, the signature dish is the tagliata di Manzo with either tomatoes or Parmesan cheese. Now there is little that you can do to make this basic dish special, nevertheless they manage to do just that. Maybe it is the open fire, or the 80's style taverna decor (complete with portable radio). Or even possibly the broad cross section of what appeared to be local clients enjoying themselves. Well worth the trip.

Ask anyone in town where they go for the best dining experience, and the response is almost unanimous: Toscana dall'Aldina! And our party of seven all agree: great food, friendly service, a casual & comfortable atmosphere, an extensive wine list in all price ranges and all for very moderate prices! We had a thoroughly enjoyable dinner. This is a top notch restaurant that will please your palate & pocketbook!

We had a great, spontaneous lunch here. It was before going to Sacro Bosco/the Monster park, whitch is very near by.The service is impressive and welcoming. The food is simple but delicious! And price is modest. I highly recomend the porchetta, and the pasta with wilde boar!Given the chance i will definitely eat here again.
