This Italian restaurant delivers what you expect: decent italian food. Nice calamares, nice risotto, nice meat. Not great cooking but decent cooking. All in all just what you can expect in a restaurant like this in a town like this.

This is a true agricultural farm, with adjacent eating place, providing indoor and outdoor seating (covered). If you are visiting Kamenjak by car (entrance fee charged), you can park at the farm. It is located some 200m on foot from the Polje harbour and beach, if you are visiting there. The place us nice for kids, they can see animals: donkeys, goats etc.The kitchen is Istrian and Mediterranean. I would recommend the mixed meat plate (they call it 'hot plate', but meaning warm, not spicy).The personnel are friendly and will advise you on the best choice for the day.It is advisable to check availability by phone before going.

We found this place on our last night.After eating lacklustre meals at many of the restaurants in the area we came here after being refused at one other we'd been regular customers at. It was a blessing in disguise!We came without a reservation but the lovely man who runs it pushed tables together to make space. In fact he tried to help the many people who turned up without a reservation, squeezing in people where he could. Not for the money, but so they didn't wander around in the dark. It's a little out of the way so the nearest restaurant is a short walk away.We had the fish platter for two (2 sea bass, mussels, 2 shrimp and some calamari. Our kids had chicken schnitzel and chips. The fish was the nicest we'd had in Banjole. Don't get me wrong, this isn't Gordon Ramsay, but it is food cooked from the heart and very filling. Our friends had the meat and cheese platter, and said it was the best they'd eaten anywhere.Our bill came to 960kn with 2 bottles of beer. It was the most expensive restaurant on our stay but definitely the best food and the kindest staff.

A small, family run place with a nice atmosphere. Very friendly, good and quick service. We were there with ten people. The service was still quick. The food was fine as well. Steak, fish, squid were all ok.And as a bonus it was the cheapest place in Medulin.

They were great up until this year, prices went up a lot, portions a bit smaller and food quality a lot worse. We waited for over an hour to get food. We all had fried calamari and all had bits of whiskers and legs from shrimps, when we told that to the waiter he laughed and said:"its all sea food". In last couple of years i went there alot but from now neither me, my friends or my family are coming here. Also the beer was warm.

As per most of the restaurants in this area the menus are very similar Pasta, Meat & Fish. The food was very nice and prices reasonable. We particularly enjoyed the Penna Arrabiatta which was spicy and the peasants potatoes which made a nice change. Our only criticism was the service, we had to ask several times to get the bill.

Thought we would give this place a try , food was excellent , I had the steak , wasn't disapointed , the other meal ordered was the lamb , that was beautiful cooked also . Staff friendly . Only downside was you might have to wait for a table.

We once ordered Pizza for take-away and had the next day dinner at the restaurant. In both circumstances we had a good meal and friendly service. Despite many tables, the kitchen was quick and the dishes of great quality. We can recommend the Octopus and the Tuna salad. Pizza is good, but not outstanding.A Final Schnaps is on the house .
