We had a lunch on a sunday at La Rupe, the place was full and we had a reservation. Nice little place with a great view.The homemade pasta was really great, the Fiorentina very nice and the dolci was the best ever.The whole table was filled with dolci and all of them unbelievable!Grazie La RupeGrazie per la recesnione e speriamo di rivederla presto.

Being an international traveler we are always looking for some place to eat and entertain guest which offers tastefully done local cuisines adapted to international palates, this place does exactly that.The ambiance is good, with a large seating capacity which is very effectively managed by a very small team of waiters and waitresses with amazing efficiency. A good place to dine.

Stopped here for lunch on our way back from Tuscany. A great place with good food and a generous host. A parte il nome sicuramente storico, ma che da lâidea di qualcosa di vecchio tutto è perfetto .Il ristorante si trova nel delizioso borgo di palazzo rossi a sasso marconi ed internamente è stato completamente ristrutturo con gusto ed intelligenza. La cucina è tradizionale, ma con stile e porzioni generose . Le materie prime sono eccellenti e su tutto spicca una Faraona strepitosa .Da provare anche unâintelligente e gustosa rivisitazione della parmigiana . Nel quadro più che positivo emerge poi il servizio davvero eccellente a maggior ragione in una città dove il servizio non è quasi mai allâaltezza ... neanche negli stellati . Super consigliato !!

We had a lunch here for 8 persons. Some friends from Bologna found it.We were the only persons for lunch so service was great.Food was very good and copious.Not far off the main higway linking Bologna to Florence -so a nice break from the highway and authentic local food.There is a Marconi museum nearby as well!

A very popular restaurant with the locals which says a lot about the food.Excellent little crescentine with prosciutto, salami and squacarone.Beautiful tagliatelle with white truffles shaved on top, simply delicious.The tagliata was a bit tough but tasty.No room for dessert!

We were visiting our friends in Bologna for a week and they surprised us by arranging a prix fixe wine dinner in the vineyard at Podere Riosto. It was was 35 euro per person and we were blown away by the experience and quality! Honestly, it was a highlight of our trip! The event started with a tour of the winery along with a glass of sparking rose. We then had time to mingle with guests while they served us a bounty of delicious antipasto along with an open bar of sparking wine, served by their sommelier, David, who came around to each table throughout the evening to discuss the wines and answer any questions we had. After antipasto, we took our seats as they served us a delicious three-course meal paired with wine from their vineyard. We stayed until 2am chatting with David and enjoying the incredible wine and surroundings. It was such a memorable experience and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area who appreciates good food and wine! We even bought a few bottles to bring home with us!Thank you !!!
