We had been to the old place at this location several times and liked it. Noticed the new name driving by, and purchased a groupon coupon for it. We were very pleased. I had the platter which came with quarter rack of ribs, quarter chicken, and generous portion of pulled pork. There were two sides as well. All of that was very good. The collard greens were especially good, with a vinegary base and cooked tender. The beans were ok, but nothing special. The ribs and the chicken had a crunchy coat and tender meat underneath. I ended up bringing half of the meal home for another day.My wife ordered a pit ham sandwich and substituted onion rings for the fries that would have come with it. She was pleased. The onion rings were different from what one usually finds. The coating was a mixture of panko and Italian bread crumbs (I managed to coax that much out of the cook behind the counter). They were also served with a dipping sauce that was slightly sweet and hot, with visible red chile pepper flakes in it. Very good. They do have patio dining out back. I'm not sure if that is new or not.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday while passing through the area. Lots of interesting things on the menu but I ended up with the Lamb Palao. Was surprised to find the shank bones in the meal but it was really good. Had a nice kick to it. Server was friendly and pretty attentive. Prices are par for the course for a lamb dish. I'd stop by again if I get the chance.

I love Klobys...especially their smoked brisket chili...but sometimes (maybe 25%) the quality seems to be erratic. Once had some chili that tasted entirely of leftover baked beans and today the brisket sandwich was burnt rock hard around the edges. Bottom line, great food but watch out for days they are re-cooking leftovers and dont be afraid to send it back if there is a problem.

Where do we begin to express our sincere gratitude to each and every one at Mission Barbeque for their continuing support of the military? We were honored to stop in for a late lunch in Laurel yesterday. We were warmly welcomed by Juan, the general manager. We both ordered the moist brisket sandwich which they were offering to celebrate Armed Forces Week. The sandwich was so delicious. Missy stopped by our table to see if there was anything else we needed. We sincerely appreciated the personal touch! We were so impressed with The POW/MIA Remembrance Table. We hope everyone will take a moment to stop and read the card and understand the significance of each item on the table, and to offer a prayer for our POW’s and MIA’s. You touched our hearts and souls! Thank you so much. Thanks for your review!
