Bogue House is often our first choice when we are thinking of good food fast. I love their fried clam plate and my husband loves the shrimp. The chicken is tasty, as is the bbq. There is a good variety and you can get home style desserts as well.

They've been here 2 years & I never new it till I went to McD's for breakfast. Sure glad I found this place. Really good menu.Got it all covered. Ribs,brisket,seafood,& mac & cheese for the kiddos. I got the scallops & oyster combo. Was surprised the scallops weren't fried.Pan seared & very good. I'm not a hush puppy fan but I ate all of them in that basket!! Everything the other reviewers said about the atmosphere is spot on.Great place with lots of seating.Staff was excellent.

We live pretty close to this place so we decided on take-out on a rainy (actually stormy) night, Hubby brought home brisket, ribs and smoked chicken with lots of "fixins", all of which were delicious. Hush puppies very good. I don't usually like brisket but the lady asked me to try a sample and now I am a fan! Hours are limited and this place is better for take out. Seems to have a lot of regulars, which is always a good sign.
