I'm not sure why this has such good reviews because it was mediocre at best. We ordered the mixed grill for two and a side salad which was ok but arrived within 5 mins of ordering, so was not freshly cooked, Over done, nothing particularly special, and the salad was obviously prepared in advance and dried out. Wasn't the cheapest meal we had had during our stay and had to ask three times for the bill! I wouldn't bother with the trip out to it!!

We stopped here for dinner because we had passed it the previous evening and like the look of the setting.On the Sunday night it had small crowd in but there was plenty of seating.We both had steak. I ordered the steak with mushrooms which I was told came with roast potatoes.The steak itself was very good, perfectly cooked and nice flavour and tender but unfortunately it was covered in a creamy mushroom sauce which was tastey but did not compliment the fine steak. Instead of roast potatoes I got rice which went well with the sauce but again not with the steak.My fiancé had better luck as his steak came with a nice herb butter and chunky fries.We had the house red which was very average.One other issue was the bench seating, ours had no back and was a bit far from the table so did not lend itself to a comfortable experience.Overall while it was good steak the entire evening was lacking so I would suggest visiting another restaurant further along the road called Tugurio.

Kod Kancelira was recommended to us as a place for having great food. Unfortunately, I have to say that the food was not much better than average, even though each of us had been starved by the time we got served. As a matter of fact, we had to wait nearly 90 minutes to get our fish plates. You would expect a Croatian restaurant to be faster with a comon dish like that one.

Unless I was unlucky, this is more a pile it high, sell it cheap approach to eating pork (their specialty) Suckling pig was huge chunks of pork that could have been from any age pig with some good quality meat but a lot of fat, grisle and bone. My wife's vegetarian dish was very poor.Service indifferent. Looks better than it is.

We stopped for lunch and to look round the village, both restaurant and village great and nice to be away from the seafront cafes with their picture boards and their poor cooking. I had scrambled eggs with isterian sausage, wife had a desert! And daughter a chicken salad. All fresh well presented and tasty.Will come back for dinner!

All the experience from the moment I called the restaurant to make a reservation for our group of people till the moment we paid bill was just flawless. The food is amazing. We had the starters, the hot starters, fish for main dish and different deserts. All the meals were just perfect.

With friends we went for a lunch based on the trip advisor recommendations. Stake itself was ok, side dish âhome potatoâ was the cheapest option of french frites, mozzarella was awful. Staff was ok. All in all 2 out of 5, but i would not recommend a second visit.good for you !!!!

We stopped by here for lunch. We had a table on the side of the playgarden. Our son had a blast while we enjoyed a nice glass. The food was delicious. We had the fish plate to share for two and it was amazing. Service was good and the price was reasonable. Certainly recommended!
