$5 for 1/3# of melt in your mouth, amazing brisket! Why go get fast food when you can have brisket! This is real Texas/Oklahoma style brisket. Totally pure and unadulterated without any sauces...you can add to your own. This brisket doesn't need to hide under sauce! One taste and you will be hooked

We had reserved a table for ten for family holiday celebration. Staff very helpful and tolerable of us. Enjoyed good meals. Food was great. Loved the variety of sauces. Ribs and wings good. Home cooking. Local feel. Welcoming. Hope to be back next year.

We'd been meaning to go in since it opened a month or so ago and we finally made it there yesterday. I'd read about their ribs but, as we were near closing time, the owner said they were out of ribs and only had some dried up ones left, which he wouldn't sell me. I ordered the chicken wings and they were probably the largest wings I've ever seen. Cooked perfectly, tasted amazing, and although I ordered four, two were all I could manage! Anyway, I pushed the owner to let me try the dried up ones he wouldn't sell me and he gave me four to try without charge, saying they were not to be taken for his normal quality. Well, if they were not up to par, I can't wait to try the ones that are! They were amazing. And did I mention his cornbread, sweet potatoes, and greens! I'm back earlier today to find out what the real ribs taste like! If you're passing Ambridge on 65, they are well worth visiting!
