The population was 9,611 at the 2010 census, up from 6,670 at the 2000 census. The estimated population in 2015 was 9,897. Warrenton is the county seat of Fauquier County. It is at the junction of U.S. Route 15, U.S. Route 17, U.S. Route 29, and U.S. Route 211. The town is in the Piedmont region of Virginia, east of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The well-known Airlie Conference Center is 3 miles (5 km) north of Warrenton, and the historic Vint Hill Farms military facility is 9 miles (14 km) east. Fauquier Hospital is located in the town. Surrounded by Virginia wine and horse country, Warrenton is a popular destination outside Washington, D.C.

Our oldest granddaughter was playing in two soccer games in the Warrenton area on a Saturday - 2:00 & 6:00. Youngest granddaughter was celebrating birthday #4 and then returning home with us for a few days. Daughter selected this location. My wife and I arrived first and requested that they set us up for a party of 8. No problem. Next three arrived so we were seated and drink orders started. Final three arrived and drinks were served promptly. The pretzel appertizer was ordered for the four grands, very much enjoyed and quickly gone. Children's menu was one of the best, if not the best I have seen recently. Orders placed, and the food arrived before all the presents were open. Food was very good - really like the fries. Very good service on drink refills. Apparently most of the soccer team decided follow the birthday girl's sister and father to the restaurant. They handled us and the team well. Maybe they are improved or we hit it right.

We stopped by Harry's at Airlie for lunch on Sunday. Originally, our hosts were hoping to show us the beautiful grounds at Airlie, but the stormy weather prevented this. Fortunately, we were able to sit by the large windows and look out at the patio and lake, while staying dry in the pub. Harry's has a cozy, friendly ambiance. There is a varied menu which includes lots of farm-to-table selections. Three people in our group ordered crab cake sandwiches topped with chow chow relish and a remoulade sauce served on toasted brioche buns with sides of fries. Another person in our group ordered the tomato pesto flatbread. We all enjoyed our selections. The entrees were a bit on the high side, but the food was good and the service was excellent.

We were looking for something different and that's what we got . Nothing about our visit would excite us into going back . Service was poor , server missed / or should I say miss ordered our whole order . Once you have waited for food , I'm not sending it back to get the spit treatment, I just eat what I got and leave . I ordered a pork stir fry , received a chicken stir fry , it sucked , chicken was dried out , rice had been sitting, overall disappointing. Wife ordered 2 appetizers as a meal , the egg rolls were so bad they removed them from our check . Will probably not return.

The ambiance was great, the service was good, the food was barely eatable. I requested crispy French fries-they were barely warm. The fish was apparently frozen-it arrived with a soggy crust and the fish was barely done. I should have known better-i live in Florida.

Happy Saint Patrickâs Day to all of my fellow Yelpers!This was my first time here with my family of 6 for Sunday lunch. The place is quite large with many rustic casual tables so we were seated immediately. As you can see from my pics, they have a very affordable Sunday Funday menu and variety of lunch cocktails available at reduced prices. 16 ounce Miller Lite and PBR cans are $2 Tall Boys. Most other regular beers are $2. Some of my family members enjoyed the $4 Zing Zang Maryâs. I enjoyed my $5 famous mimosa pints, which were delicious.I enjoyed my Mollyâs 12 for $10 fried and crispy tossed in choice of sauce spicy chicken wings with medium spice with both blue cheese and ranch dressing on the side for dipping. 6 wings for $6 is also available. I always enjoy my blue cheese, but, some of my family members prefer ranch dressing.Jeremy quickly and effectively accommodated our table needs. My total bill for the 6 of us was only $97 less gratuities. I will definitely return here again for some more Sunday Funday fun, good casual food and affordable drink.

Great place for a nice relaxing lunch. We sat on the back patio,not a great view of back parking lot but the weather was perfect to be outside.Very friendly staff. We chose to get a few appetizers to share and glad we did as they were full size portions. Can't say enough how good the Bistro Nachos were with the smoked pullex pork. We also ordered the Ciatola which is described as as a smoked Gouda fondue but looks more like a pizza and was AMAZING. There were some many good menu options to choose from and we will. E back to try some other things.
