I've been to Burdo at least 8 times, so I obviously enjoy it. What I love:The cocktails - innovative and delish.The bar snacks and apps - these are the best things on the menu.Brunch.The interior design.Service is usually solid.What I don't love:The techno music can be over-the-top sometimes. Scale it back.I've never been impressed by an entree. They are always good, but never amazing. I've learned to stick to ordering the snacks to share or pizza.

Attentive staff and decent range of burgers and salads. Our burgers were perfectly cooked -medium rare. Salad was tasty delicious tomatoes and dressing, Unlike awful tasteless salads you get in the US. Price was very low . Definitely come again before leaving MedellÃn

It's a long couple of blocks from the nearest Metro stop, but this experience is worth it. Imagine a food court with maybe 40 different choices ranging from the simple to fine dining, filled with people and music, all at reasonable prices. The noise and the crowds downstairs were almost overwhelming, but we found a seat upstairs at the Italian restaurant and had a great meal.Hello! We love that you had a good experience Welcome always!

I went in for a drink, and the bar was maybe 50% full. I sat down at a stool on the corner of the bar and waited for service. The guy behind the bar was busy, the girl was "wandering " around. I tried numerous times to make eye contact and raised my hand, to at least let them know I wanted a drink. Nothing.There were 5 bar staff, all at the small table next to the entrance. All talking, not serving. Again, I tried to make eye contact to no avail - chating was more important. There were quite a few people in the bar, so perhaps a better use of time would have been walking around asking clients if they wanted to order something.After 8 minutes (yeah , I clocked it), I got up and left. Could I have gotten up and walked over to the girls and asked for some service? - --Of course I could have, but I am generally fed up with the attrocious levels of service in Colombian bars that I walk out if they cannot be bothered to train their staff. The owner was sitting right in the entrance. Tips are included in the bill, and staff shoudl at least try to offer some level of serviceBeing the owner of Patrick's I was sad to read this Review, Patrick's is under New Management, the person in charge has knowledge & Experience to run a Excellent Staff, Customer & Food Satisfaction, We open at 10AM for Breakfast everyday and have 2 Shifts in Staff, Our night shift being the most experienced..Heads will Roll, Im not Happy! I would not describe myself as a pizza snob, being equally at home tucking into A Papa John's / Domino's as an artisanal Italian sourdough, but I had been longing for a nice pizza when I visited Ammazza. I did not get my wish.The pizza was atrocious. Overall, it essentially tasted of nothing. The cheese is of appalling quality, with both flavour and texture best described as "unrecogniseable". The base also tastes of nothing and is closer to a cracker than bread. The toppings seem of generally good quality, although are used so sparingly as to have minimal overall impact on the experience. An important caveat is that the mushrooms used are served raw and hard, although happily (unlike the meat), are applied liberally. Sadly (you guessed it), they taste of nothing.The staff are quite friendly and the decor and overall atmosphere of the restaurant are very nice. The gin list is expansive, and they stock fever tree mixers, which is a plus.In sum, by all means, have a gin and tonic here, but I implore you, please go anywhere else to eat. There are many, many better places within a paper-aeroplane-flight of here which you would be better served going to!First of all we want to thank you for sharing your experience with us, it is thanks to your criticisms, whether positive or with aspects to improve, that we continue to grow and improve in all our processes. What we do assure you is that our products are of the highest quality and that if there was a human error, we will work to reduce these to the minimum. I would like you to give us a second chance to show you a true experience in Ammazza !!

I was pretty disappointed with this place. Itâs cheap enough but the food is not good quality. I ordered a vegetable burrito with no cheese or sour cream as I am a vegan. I got handed a salad wrap. The burrito only had lettuce, cucumber, tomato and sweetcorn. There was no rice or beans (as stated on the menu) and in all honestly I was expecting peppers, onions, guac, salsa, rice etc. How you would in a normal vegan burrito! But no. Only cold salad. When I asked if the burrito should have beans and rice inside it the waitress was friendly and went to fetch me 2 tiny pots (the size that they had brought me a chilli dip in earlier) one of rice (about 1 tablespoon) and 1 of beans- which had not been cooked in any sauce and had no flavour. I did not eat the beans after trying them. And I left half of my burrito wrap because it was that bad. And i HATE to waste food! But I could not eat it. Very sadly disappointed. We believe you might have mistaken our restaurant with Taco House, which is very near our restaurant. First of all, our restaurant does not offer in its Menu a Vegetable/Vegan Burrito, clients can choose whatever ingredients they like. Second, we do not offer cucumber in any of our products. And third, we only offer refried beans which is kind of like a bean sauce, but we do not have regular beans. We would like to invite you to try our restaurant called TAKOUT so you`ll have a better experience and we guarantee you will not waste any food. We would appreciate if you change the bad rating. We just finished a wonderful early dinner at Ammazza. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and meal. The pineapple mojito was so delish. We both loved the thin crust on the pizza. Will definitely recommend to our friends who live in the area. Gabriella our server was so pleasant and helpful. This is a hidden gem with delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. The steak was perfectly cooked with unique sides like American potatoes which included pickles and smoked bacon. They have a tomahawk steak that I would highly recommend.We appreciate the time it took to tell us your experience and give us a good rating. The team is always willing to do everything possible to make your experience a barbaric one.
