We were skeptical of this restaurant simply because the location is very touristy but they seemed to have the best prix fixe menu on offer and was bustling with locals. We were starving and had very little time before an important school interview...So we gave it a try and were glad we did! With only a few days in France I wanted to get as many great meals in as possible. I asked politely if they could get us in and out under an hour and they hustled in our order and we were able to enjoy a perfectly executed meal including salad, carpaccio, steak au poivre and fries. Will definitely return!

Irish pub that serves local french fare including a version of sausage and mash, steak tartare and fish and chips.Lots of old memorabilia. Beer on tap. Typical pub ambience.The place was recommended by our apartment host. For a group looking for lunch at 3pm, we were more than glad that Cafe Jules accommodated us.

This is a nice place to have a drink on the terrace. The food is ok but nothing really great. This is cafe food so you know you will not get something great. What is not good is the level of service with one of the waiter not being very careful and nice. You need to call him otherwise he will not come (apart from the boss who is kind)He will act as if you are his friend but you aren't. The other waiter is nice So overall average. Good value for money

I often have lunch there on Saturday, with my kids and some friends. It is like a parisian brasserie .. They have very good meat from Aubrac and the terrace, situated on the main market place in town is very pleasant as soon as the sun is out.

They used to have a fairly standard range of beers, but now with their hooking-up with Adnams, the brews awaiting one at the bar delight the visual and taste senses. Atmosphere always lively, nice management, great location... there is no where else for miles around like TBE.
