Weâve been several times now and love going back. The menus are tucked inside old 45 record album covers, mine has Darryl & Ozzie Ostrich from Hey! Hey! Itâs Saturday! It wasnât Saturday, but it could have been; I was transported back in time to my childhood by the album cover alone, then the funky old couches in the corner made me feel instantly at home. The bar staff are always chill, they are such a great bunch I even donated more old vinyl records and covers, to which they cheerfully poured me a free wine in gratitude. Now to the food: itâs kinda pubby without being a pub, and itâs kinda restaurant but too informal for that-and itâs not really cafe style either. I guess itâs just too CHILL to be any one thing. Youâve got your standard party animals, great wraps, burgers and fries, theyâre all winners. The chicken tenders on large wood planks with blue cheese are so yum, the popcorn prawns are addictive, the pulled pork is dreamy, and oh my! the onion rings hit the spot with a beer on a hot day! Nights are fun, karaoke, live music, improv and open mic nights, itâs all round feel-good n good times bar with a funky vibe, go dip your toes in the beach and have a drink! Funky Good Times!

Beautiful pub but felt like we were a hindrance to staff. We were asked to be quiet in the TAB area when races were on which is fair enough, however we were the only group in the TAB at the time. Also felt like we were getting in the way when it came to ordering food. Planned on spending the day there but decided to wrap things up after a couple of hours and head back to the accomodation to watch the football instead. Wonât be going back in a hurry.

Itâs not easy to serve 56 people quickly for a lunch but the managed it very well. We had pre ordered our meal choices , but we were served very quickly and efficiently. Not gourmet meals but well priced for a large group and very satisfactory. Happy staff and happy guests.
