The Japanese word ZEN derived from the Chinese word Pinyin âchanâ which is derived from Sanskrit Dhyana âmeditationâ. Chan is one of the many Buddhist terms in Chinese that originate in India the homeland of Buddhism, which was later spread all over South
Loved this place! Excellent service, delicious fresh food full of flavour. Generous portions. We started with Har Gow. Very tasty appetizer. Then we had the Rice Noodles Hakka Style with a Prawn. Wonderful presentation and spicy! So many dishes sounded amazing... will be definitely be back to try some of the curry dishes.

Visited the Rockford Grill for the first time, recently with several friends. Of major significance to us was the absence of annoningy loud music drowning out our conversation. We had a large booth to relax in and the wait staff were friendly and helpful. I had a chicken sandwich served on a hamburger bun. I would have preferred a croissant or even whole grain toast. Perhaps I can ask for other alternatives if I return. One of my companions had a wrap which she thouroughly enjoyed and the other a chicken salad, also looked upon favourably. I delighted in the novelty of my single serve tea cone while the others enjoyed coffee. I would probably return again to sample other dishes. The Rockford is a destination restaurant but is quiet and offers plenty of parking. Thanks for taking the time to share your review. We hope to see you again soon!

My husband and i decided to try this pub, as we have never been here before. It was not busy, but yet our food took 30 min to arrive. I had the bangers with cabbage and mashed potatoes, cabbage and gravey. Not impressed. My husband had chicken neptune. Chopped up chicken with tiny scallops and rice. For dessert i had a plain chocolate cake. Sorry to say, we wont be going back.

I am from Texas where brisket and barbeque are pretty much articles of faith. Over the years, I have enjoyed BBQ fare from Kansas City, St. Louis, the Carolinas, Memphis, and others but nothing beats the savory mesquite smoked brilliance from the Lone Star State. Our project team was here in Prince George for a client kickoff meeting and twelve of us dropped in for dinner at the Copper Pig. The atmosphere was cozy and rustic. The staff was warm, friendly, and not in the least overwhelmed by our unexpected crowd. The wine list was a bit limited, but the local British Columbia selections were exceptional. I was delighted to find a perfect Cabernet Franc more than deserving of a second glass. I ordered the classic Beef Brisket BBQ Dinner smoked over maple, according to our waiter. It wasn't quite the mesquite goodness I love but it came closer than any other I've tried.

I'm an out of towner who was treated to dinner their by my hosts. I ordered the Fried Cornish Hen while the three others with me ordered ...pizza?? After looking at the menu i knew i would not be doing that! Pizza looked good but my meal was absolutely delicious and incredibly creative. I took time to notice some of the other offerings they were preparing and they were a number of plates that I would have loved to try had I been around long enough to return. Definitely a must when visiting Prince George!

I've been here a few times and the food is decent. I mean, its not surprising which is what I like to experience when I eat out. But if you want a decent meal because you are hungry the food here will suffice.,

The Keg has a good history of serving good steaks and seafood with the typical accompaniments. Although I prefer the past Keg restaurant here. The modern renovation is okay also and caters many guests and needs as well. The food could be a bit better, but better then most of the options in town for what you get or can get.

I first ate at Nancy O's with a friend for lunch. I had the falafel tacos. They were freshly made, the falafels crispy and flavorful, the slaw delicious and generous, and the aioli with chipotle so tasty. Accompanied with delicious crispy hot truffle fries with fresh shaved parmesan. Excellent. Happy to return with another friend the next week I ordered the same. This time the falafels were dry and barely warm, and the slaw and aioli so meager I had to ask for more sauce. My fires were soggy and undercooked, I could not eat them. At this restaurant you group to counter to order, then are brought out your food. Service was friendly and washrooms clean. I have given a 4 star rating because I believe the second visit was food prepared before a rush lunch hour. I will return. Third time is a charm?
