Very nice cozy place. Friendly staff and owner, great service. Food is very good, reasonable prices, big portions, some complimentary things made me happy. Nice music collection which make my mood and appetite better. Will be my favorite place at Bangpor, close to my home for sure.

We had great food in great atmosphere and really warm service. Be sure to try the sticky rice but Miang Kam was also fantastic. We came to Koh Samui by cruise ship - if you're on a cruise ship Bang Po beach is in the north of the island, a short taxi trip from the small town of Nathon where the tender boats come in. Don't make the mistake we did initially by going to Chaweng beach which the taxi drivers recommend (and our cruise ship promote). Big mistake, it was filthy and over-crowded. We immediately got in another taxi which brought us to Bang Po beach. So lovely and unspoilt in comparison; happily the only thing floating in the sea off this beach, was a coconut. The sea was calm (we had several dips to cool off) and the beach was clean and sandy. It is still a beach with local bars and restaurants, but there are no crowds. I didn't spot another pool towel from our cruise ship! We happened upon Music Beach as we walked along the sand. There were half a dozen or so sets of sunbeds with sun parasols, and one empty pair. We decided to take up residence and were pleased to discover that there was no charge for sunbeds so long as you bought a drink or two. We were happy to while away the rest of the afternoon there, with a couple of cocktails each and a tasty lunch of calamari and chips. Whilst it is a beach club, with a beautiful infinity pool we could also make use of; there was no blaring music while we were there. Just the peace and quiet of the beautiful location. After our initial disappointment of Chaweng, it made finding Music Beach at Bang Po one of the most memorable days of the holiday.Thank you so much mkjan13 !
