La Línea de la Concepción (Spanish pronunciation: [la ˈlinea ðe la konθepˈθjon], more often referred to as La Línea) is a town in Spain, in the province of Cádiz in Andalucia. It lies on the eastern isthmus of the Bay of Gibraltar, north of the Gibraltar–Spain border, which lies north of the British overseas territory of Gibraltar, with which it has close economic and social links. It is situated on the sandy isthmus which unites the Rock of Gibraltar with the coast in the eastern flank of the Bay of Gibraltar, between Sierra Carbonera and the Rock of Gibraltar.

Como su nombre bien indica se especializa en la venta de quesos, embutidos ibéricos, vino y vermouth.Si te gustan estos productos es el sitio ideal para ti, os lo recomiendo.He de añadir que también puedes disfrutar de todo esto en tu casa, ya que te lo puedes llevar don problemas.Enhorabuena por el puesto. He disfrutado mucho degustando los diferentes tipos de queso que ofrecen.¡¡Volveré sin duda!!

We stayed a couple of nights in town and this place was just in walking distance. And it's open 24h.There's always a bunch of locals outside, drinking beer and have a chat. The whole place is more like a locals meet-up. Which is a nice thing. Coming here after work, having a drink and a chat. But we were also very welcome and staff was friendly and very helpful (no english menu). Our dog was welcome even inside.The menu is quite big. Lots of sandwiches and small plates. Also some daily specials on the counter. Prices are really low.We ordered a ham/cheese hot sandwich, a tuna sandwich, some chicken skewers and some kind of beef stew. All was prepared freshly (except the stew from the counter). Real nice, homemade food. The best item was definitely the beef stew. Good meat and a rich, thick sauce full of flavours. Good stuff.We would have come more often, would there not have been some kind of drifter (that nobody seemed to know) that evening, who was acting out quite a bit weird and pretty much bothered everybody (including the staff). But it's a great little place with friendly staff and locals and good food for low prices.

Location for summer is the only thing this place has for me. More of a place to be seen in than to eat. The music is absolutely awful.. more like cheap porn background music than the chill out its attempting to be. Waiters slow. Food expensive.

Great expansive beach clear waters, Sandy, small pebbles in places with a few beach diners seving fresh fish etc. Clean apart from , smokers just leaving fab butts in sand everywhere. There are some Sandy dunes not much shade, chilled vibe, gracious.

Friends of mine took us to Woky, as it is their regular hang out and this place is fab!Located in one of the squares it has indoor and outdoor seating, there are TVs to watch sports and the food and drink are really good...and really, really cheap!! A bucket of beers costs â¬3 good sized sandwiches are about the same and of good quality. The gin with red berries is particularly good. Staff could be a bit friendlier, but they do work long hours, so that can be excused. Chilled vibe and a great hang out place.Gracias por su opinión.

I reviewed this cafe/restaurant in January 2017 and said it was excellent. Today, the 25th of August 2018 my wife and I went back. It was very disappointing. 10.50am on a day when temperatures were approaching 30ºC, half of the tables were in full sun and many of them had not been cleared after having been used. The proportion of staff to clients was VERY inadequate. We were there to meet family members who arrived at 11.20. We eventually managed to get a drink at 11.35 but at that point in time there were still dirty dishes on our table. By La LÃnea standards the cafe is expensive but the service was very lacking, we saw at least 3 couples leave without getting served. We will not be returning in the near future.

We found la Taberna by accident during one of our evening wanderings in La Linea de la Concepcion. This town may not be as charming as others in the region, but it has charm in its own right. You just have to look for it. And you will find it at la Taberna, a place that was filled with what appeared to be locals when we were there. We were looking for a light, late-evening dinner and were not disappointed. The prices were extremely reasonable and the wine and tapas selections respectable. It was lively and the staff were attentive and efficient. No one appeared to speak English, but who cares, as they were all smiling and helpful.

We were looking for somewhere that caters for vegetarians.....not much choice in La LÃnea but Dannyâs delivered. We went on burger night....home made burgers and a beer/wine. Great value, lovely food, really friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We will recommend to friends and will come back again.

Solomillo: The one we've got was a bit too skinny and dry, but prepared very well. Don't compare to the best in the city, I wouldn't call this one a proper stake.Huevos Rotos: A sunny egg with a running yolk perfectly covered in fries. Just brake it and enjoy!Empanadilla con queso de cabra: For those who like goat cheese with caramelized onion. Very creamy inside and taste rather sweet.The place has been refurbished recently, and for the DECOR, the new interior feels still a bit empty. The lights are too strong and the walls are missing some color or images. Tip: Don't order sides, all meals come with fries.
