I recently spent a couple of weeks on Koh Chang and was lucky to find myself in Morgan's after just a couple of nights. I was originally drawn in by the sport on the big screen (it being the end of the season and FA Cup and all). Richie, his wife and their staff were super friendly and inviting. Richie has lived their for 15 years and so has lots of knowledge of the Island, he even speaks some Thai with an Essex accent! The food is lovely and really well presented and thought out. The Thai chefs seemed to have nailed Shepherds Pie and if you want a breakfast then they have "proper" bacon and sausages as well as massive bangers for Bangers "n" Mash. And as everywhere, the Thai food is superb.10/10.Thanks very much for your review and custom of course. Glad we ticked the boxes for you and enhanced your stay on the island. We hope youâll be able to visit Koh Chang again soon. It would be a pleasure to have you around again. Thanks very much from all of the Morganâs team!

We already wrote a TA for Alchemy as a guesthouse. This place deserves another review concerning their restaurant and bar.First of all the design and interior is beautiful and welcoming. The food is excellent from breakfast to dinner and both healthy juices and great drinks later on are perfect. IF you crave something else but thai food go here. Try the spicy shrimps, the chicken liver pate, the excellent salads or the soups.In fact it doesn't matter EVERYTHING is awesome!Not to forget the best manager Maria and her staff.Chef Srimao is an amazing cook.Soon they will also have a Thai menu.Alchemy you will always be in our "food"- heartsâ¤See you next yearThank you VERY much for you review! It was a great pleasure to have a dinner and a lunch in this restaurant on the beach. Food was tasty, stuff was friendly.I think, this place is perfect for enjoying the sunset as its located exactly on the beach. After sunset, the guests will be entertained with a fire show. That is pretty cool too. I would advice this place for the visit!

We had been eating Thai stir fryâs and rice dishes and we were in need off some other choices. Extensive menu choices - should I have Shepardâs pie or stew. Decided on the stew and have to say it was a full meal deal. Very, very filling. Great whiskey and scotch choices as well. Talked to the owners friend who was the manager that night who also opened a bar in town. He Had great information on places to go that are not on the regular tourist planner menu. paddyâs also has a pool table, fuzz ball table great single choices. The service was excellent. Well worth they extra cost..

I have been to Margaritaville many times, They serve very good western food for very reasonable prices, the Bar is an obligatory stop before going out, the service is perfect, I highly recommend a visit there, and make sure you try the "Soup" of the day.

I went here for the entertainment and never really tried the food. I had two enjoyable evenings here any way. The house band plays a good variety of rock music and are fun to listen to. A bunch of expats add interesting variety. There are several skilled guitar players that hang out here and are worth the visit. They would be better off without their female vocalist.

Oh my goodness the food is good here. There is something for everyone on the menu and everything is delicious. There arenât many tables so get there early. Everything is made fresh and, if it is busy, takes a bit longer to make but the wait is well worth it.

Drinks were good (son ordered the watermelon shake and it was served in a watermelon bowl). Food was an afterthought. We were craving for burgers (120thb) and unsurprisingly they were frozen patties. Probably the best bar on the strip but that is not really saying much.

Staying 1 month here in one of the new bigger bungalows. Excellent, spotlessly clean and professional owners who definitely are in control. The restaurant is cozy and with very good food, both Thai and western. A MUST try: larb moo, sweet/sour chicken, their excellent burger and of course grandmothers pancakes.We would highly recommend this place.For now thanks to Matt, Max and their great staff.
