Love this Bar! Waitress was great ( Hannah) Beer was great. ( I don't do their wine because if the plastic glasses.) I had the fish tacos. They were good ...But... You get about a .5 oz of fish per taco!! Not kidding!!Really, seems like for $9.50 you should get a LOT more! Other annoying factor was group of 20-30 year olds vaping. Hiding it ( they thought)... But blowing out smoke... and passing it to each other and trying to act like they weren't....... so rude in a restaurant where others are eating. Two other couples on outside perimeter were smoking too! The guy with the beard should be more diligent about this. I'd bet he is a smoker. If this is a continuous problem, we will stop coming here. Even tho it is a great Bradenton lunch and dinner place. We always bring out of town company here!

We have been to the SAndbar many times and it never fails to live up to the expectations. Great atmosphere, every year they seem to improve the restaurant, the food is of high standard and the service is great. They have a man who reads minds before you even think of it !!The value is also great - Massive Cocktails for $10, Sinners Delight dessert for $6 - you cannot moan at these quality plates. My husband and I ate there this weekend. It is a fun Irish pub. They had a live band who was good and fun and very entertaining. We ordered the grilled wedge and the Irish Dip. They were both great! That Irish Dip was so good. We are contemplating getting it to go before we leave town! The only thing that could have been better was the service. They were pretty busy but we felt like the server would check all the tables around us and then skip ours and not even make eye contact to stop them. Would recommend but just cross fingers you get better service.

We live on the island and where told, that the owners have changed and that the food is much better now. Well, I'm not sure what their taste butts are like, but for ours the food was way below par. The bread was dry, the crawfish paste had the taste of a hell of a lot of nothing. Guess, that why it weren't a lot of patrons there.We are so sorry to hear of your disappointment. If you would allow me to make it up to you. Ask for me personally on your next visit and I will make sure you have an enjoyable dining experience. Scott

The UG always looks busy when we drive past so we decided to eat there last week. The restaurant is laid back and the staff are excellent. We had Grouper Nuggets and the Grouper Tacos both were well worth the hype.Beer was good and the overall price average for a lunchtime meal. It was setup for bored kids and certainly had a unique view of itself being media friendly. The bar also had some sports showing TVs. Definate return planned for next vacation.

We took the entire family for breakfast. They service breakfast, lunch and have a Tiki bar outside for all day service. They also have all you can eat pancakes, cooked to order. It is a nice location on the beach, The food was fresh and the service was very timely. It is set up like a concession, but they have enough to handle the volume. Well worth a return visit. it is also a great location to see the sun set in the late afternoon!We will be back.

Skinnyâs touts the best burgers and coldest beer in town. They mean what they say. So delicious!Not what you would call a fancy place by any means. In fact, it reminds me of a restaurant in Jamaica or a third world country. Guess that is another thing I like about it. I donât think public health in Illinois would pass this one, but it is Illinois. Just pay people off and go about your business. Did I say that? Woops! The staff at Skinnys is fantastic and they hustle to keep customers happy. We will return time and time again.

I had the lobster Mac and cheese, was loaded with lobster and delicious and creamy. My husband got the swordfish special and it made me a little jealous! The lobster Mac and cheese is awesome but the swordfish was just cooked so perfectly! Friendly service and reasonable prices!
