Have been before a while back and was good then. However visited after walking over hills and had exceptional lunch special of pan fried Sardines with tomato salsa .Onion tart with goats cheese and figs also went down well.Beers were well kept and good choice. Great quality and value.

We were staying in Rye and after searching on Happy Cow App we found this pub as one of the few in the area serving vegan food. We drove from Rye and were not disappointed. The pub is quite quirky and the atmosphere is very friendly and hospitable. We ate some delicious food and how nice to find somewhere that serves vegan desserts! We stayed for a few drinks afterwards and just really enjoyed the place. The lady who served us (and everyone else in the pub) was very friendly and really is a credit to the pub. Would we recommend this pub? Absolutely!Thanks so much for your review - I'm so pleased you enjoyed yourselves (and good to hear about the Happy Cow App). Driven past countless times so we booked a table of 6 and were not disappointed, had a mixed meat roast big portions and homemade which is sooo much better, kids were happy with their meals good selection of local ales would definitely recommend, lovely staff all really friendly. Oscars are now offering breakfast at the weekends, I opted for the vegetarian and my other half had the meat option. Both breakfasts were hot, great portions and absolutely delicious, breakfast comes with either a tea or coffee. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go back.

We visited this pub/restaurant today for a drink before ordering a meal; sitting at our table having a drink in the main bar getting ready to order food when another customer standing six feet away starts smoking an E-cigarette with the smell wafting all over us.I complained to the bar staff about this customers behaviour and I was told it was acceptable to use E-cigarettes inside The Three Oaks Pub.We finished our drinks and left.If there was signage stating that E-cigarettes were allowed inside the bar we could have made a choice to risk our health or not in this pub.

Bar and restaurant have very good atmosphere and this is matched with excellent food both dinner and breakfast.Very affable host makes it even better.Booked a âdeluxe king suiteâ and this turned out to be disappointing.Although a large room and comfortable king bed it was furnished in an underwhelming style that was nowhere near deluxe- needs a revamp together with a rethink of the poor lighting.It would be so easy to upgrade the furnishings and take this to a five star rating.â

Group of five, ordered quite quickly and then waited for 30 minutes for lunch items! We would have definitely gone elsewhere if we had we been told of this long wait. A member of our group was on his lunch break, so was late back to work, and a pregnant lady who felt very ill at not being fed soon enough! That being said the seafood chowder was one of the best the connoisseurs said they had, and the jackets were great too! Would probably come again! Thank you for your review K4296BFemmaa. The wait on the food is due to it being cooked fresh, especially the Chowder as it takes around 25mins to cook, but very glad you all enjoyed your food and we would love to see you again.Many thanks

I can only say, what a fantastic idea. It was the wife's birthday on Sunday and we were going to go out for a nice meal. Unfortunately, the wife woke up feeling under the weather. So she asked me to order a meal from Teddy's and have it delivered. We were surprised when we opened the trays containing the food. As much food as you would put on a plate yourself, fresh and hot. The food was gorgeous and delivered in no time at all. First-class service even in your own home.

On The Rocks is a great place to come to for the regular entertainment they have, particularly various drag queens. We have always found staff to be pleasant and efficient, although now under new management so understand there are new staff. The crowd is always lively and up for a good time.
