Staying at the Oaks Grand we dined out the first night at the Oak & Vine. Service and atmosphere were excellent and the food very nice. Enjoyed it so much we dined there a a second time. Can highly recommend the Fisherman's Catch. The Club Hotel Bistro is one of our favourite regular venues, and this time, it lived up to its usual standard. We mostly had fish dishes, and this was cooked to perfection. It's not so busy these days with the construction on the island coming to an end. Service was excellent.

We stopped here for dinner a few days ago. The food was up to the usual high quality, and this time I tried the pan seared scallops with pumpkin soup. I was a bit sceptical, but they went together beautifully. Everybody at our table was happy with the food and service, and the 20% discount for seniors is a definite drawcard. The sides are VERY generous, so be prepared to share.

Diceys Pub always offers up a fabulous range of foods for all tastes. We have eaten here both at Lunch and Dinner and are not disappointed with the serving size and quality.. 5 stars to the wait staff and bar staff who always meet you with a friendly face , We have tried the taste plates, burgers and schnitzels however the chicken stir fry is also amazing , Cheers

Had a good Caesar salad. Excellent chips. Nice curry. Mac and cheese also good. Steak well prepared with good mash. Not bad value. Nice room. We sat on verandah and it was pleasant despite being winter. Good portions. Quick and friendly service. Good value.

We keep returning to Hog's because the service is always great. The staff are always happy and efficient which creates an enjoyable dining experience. The food is good and their $9.90 lunch specials are great value. Overall, the service is what keeps us returning and that is a rarity these days, so thumbs up to Brad and his team at Hog's Breath Gladstone!

The sailing club is a lovely spot to have some drinks and relax with friends. The food is standard pub food which is fine but I would love to see a couple more vegetarian options. I love that they use paper straws - it's great to see businesses caring for the environment, especially when they are situated by the beach!

Stopped in for breakfast today and had the eggs Benedict with a cappuccino. Two ladies working were very polite well-managed and exceptional customer service. My food was presented with class elegance and attention to details I have not seen in Gladstone. I highly recommend this little gem for anyone that is after a fantastic coffee in the morning to kickstart their day and a breakfast that will get your mood from 0 to hero in 20 minutes
