Go early to avoid the crowd!! Owners out on the floor and overseeing the crowd and pitching in. I ordered Taco salad- not great, my husband ordered the fish fry and liked it a lot...but had to wait a long time for more. Waitress friendly...but when we were leaving there were a couple of the wait staff out smoking by the entrance...not cool! Noise was very loud, looks like a good family atmosphere on the water. Will give it another try.

During hunting season, I visit this place every Friday night for there excellent fish fry. The fish is delicious and the soup/salad bar is included. The soup/salad bar is not huge but does the deed for a local small family owned restaurant. They only take cash for payment. I would recommend the Wooden Nickle if your looking for a fish fry.

Visited the Island View Pub & Grille for some drinks while on a local fundraiser poker run. The bartender was very friendly and is a teacher at a nearby school. The place looks very well done with the new remodeling and will try the food next time I visit.

We were visiting the area and several people told us about the Cedar Shack so we decided to give it a try! We had cheeseburgers and these were amazing burgers out of excellent beef! Someone told us Dean the owner knows beef so his food is amazing, and we agreed! It was a very busy night when we arrived but the service was still excellent. We were able to sit at the bar but there were lots of tables available too and everyone's food looked great coming out of the kitchen. Nice hot fried too which when busy sometimes places don't make that happen, not here all was good. Prices were also very good for all you get!There is also a large banquet hall people said they host large gatherings in like weddings and meetings, I can see why, very cute place!

We really liked the atmosphere of thisnplace, it is rustic and clean! They even have an outside bar area but we went inside. We had great service. We ordered pizza and it was ok, filled us up.

We come here to eat and drink whenever we are at our vacation house. Drinks are reasonably priced, staff all really friendly and food made fresh when ordered. Soups all homemade and chili very good. Patty melt excellent and the chicken fried steak a winner. Pool tables, darts and video games for kids. Juke box and if you plays Sweet Caroline by Neil diamond You will likely get the crowd to sing along. Long Island ice teas made from scratch and pack a punch.

Amazing food, great prices. My family and I stopped here for a quick dinner at the recommendation of our friends. The service was friendly and expedient. My wife, who has a gluten allergy, was pleased that the server was knowledgable on what was gluten free on the menu. She had an very tasty salmon entree and I had their 12 oz ribeye. Both fish and steak were seasoned well and cooked to the requested temperature. We'll definitely be back!

This place USED to be great. Food is average now and a little pricey for its quality. Atmosphere is rough. Obvious locals being over served , bartender definitely needs to clean up a bit. I'd stay away from this one. What used to be a good fun place years ago has definitely gone downhill and needs a clean out. Sorry.

We had just finished golfing and were staying at the Pines on hwy 13 north of Adams friendship. We asked the receptionist where a good place to eat was. He said their restaurant was very good. We were hesitant but didn't feel like running around. To our surprise and pleasure, the food was excellent. Antony was a very good bartender; old-fashions were very good. We will come back. Strongly recommend.

Everything was wonderful! Our server, Violet, was fantastic. She was friendly and attentive. In fact, we had inquired about a menu option we had seen online that wasn't on the menu in the restaurant, a short time later the chef came out to talk with us. He asked us about the dish and offered to make it even though it was no longer on the menu. We were blown away. By then, my husband had chose a steak that was on their menu, but we sincerely appreciated the thoughtfulness and effort to make sure he was happy with his meal. We then went to the salad bar, which was excellent. Everything was fresh and delicious. When our meals came, we were both very happy with our choices. My husband's sirloin was prepared exactly as he ordered it and my crab cakes were very tasty. We took dessert to go (cheesecake) and enjoyed that later. When we are in this area again, we will certainly be back!
