Very old and famous place. They only serve drinks and if you ask the next door restaurant will send you finger food. The drinks are priced well. Very limited seating bu loved the rustic feeling in this cozy wooden pub

The place seemed to be one of the veterans at Chowrasta(Darjeeling) but the person at the gate wasnât at all humble to allow a mom with her 2 year old child to use the restaurant. I had expected a greater humility from such a veteran.I apologise for your bad experience. However I must highlight that we have no reason to stop any customer from visiting our restaurant unless the kitchen was closed.Please visit us next time and we hope to make it up with our search and food quality.

Great restaurant that serves yummy Punjabi food. Following a nice trip to the queen of hills, this place is a gastronomical delight for authentic Punjabi breakfast with parathas or ending a tiring long day with some great tandoori kukkad. The staff is swift and service efficient. It's a popular place for kids as the restaurant receives a lot of boarding school kids out for their outing. I have travelled across India, UK and Europe and rate this restaurant right up there amongst the best in taste quotients. Rocky & Mayur from Highway on my Plate ought to pay a visit next time.
