When we dropped by for some well priced and delicious drinks, we had not counted on our bartender being so helpful. We grabbed a yummy combination pizza, and asked about where would be open on a Monday night. Casco Viejo had seemed shut down, but our bartender wrote a list of bars for us to check out and even stood in the street with me pointing out directions for me.

The food was fairly typical for a Chamions, just OK but the place lacked the atmoshere you usuaslly find in a Chamions.Maybe there were no interesting sports happening but it just lacked people and activity. Service was fairly average will a slight level of no interest unlike the rest of the hotel

Vieja Habana

I happened to walk by right about the time I got hungry. With a name like 'Havana Club' what could go wrong? The bartender spoke English well enough. I ordered a beer and then some lunch. The food (ceviche) was fresh. While eating, it started to rain, so I had another beer and quickly made talk with fellow travelers who were from Canada. So, I'd say it's a great place to meet people and can't wait to return again on my next trip to Panama but at night. Bathroom was clean. Bill was reasonable. May sound like a tourist trap by the name, but locals also go here.
