Barometer the looks of the place and the prices they charge you would expect this to be a very good place to eat. The plate for our appetizer was dirty and then our waiter spilled drinks on our table as it mixed up the drinks. I ordered a chicken fried steak for a high price and what I got was one of those processed steaks like you would get off a Schwannâs truck. It was of uniform size and thickness and battered in one of those processing plants just prior to being frozen. If was large, but just not very good. The other food might be good but for my money I will avoid this in the future.I sincerely apologize for your recent negative experience with us. The ribeye steak fingers were absolutely fantastic!!! Caeser salad was amazing and pretty darn big for a side salad. Three of us had the Ribeye steak and everyone said they were tender and cooked to perfect order and had a great taste. Three also had a regular house salad and they all loved it. Large, crispy fresh & well presented. Loved the ambiance with the dark wood. Cassie was an attentive server. We will absolutely be back more than once!!

Stopped in for a pre-concert dinner and a couple of beers. We've been to the Lodge before and enjoyed the ambience and staff. This will become a regular stop on the way to the casino.We were fortunate enough to sit at the bar where Josh, the bartender, provided excellent service. I ordered the Steak Fingers with side of mac, while she ordered the Chicken Fried Steak which came with mashed potatoes & one other side.The kitchen was very fast with our order in front of us in about 10 minutes. My steak fingers were plentiful and super tender. I easily cut them with a fork, but they did need a touch of salt. The mac n cheese was excellent. Cheesy, creamy and with a little surprise flavor of pimiento & jalapeno. Will definitely order this again.I tried a bite of her CFS and thought my steak fingers were better. The steak had good flavor and a slight chew and just not as tender. The veggies were a mix of squash & zucchini and had too much garlic for my taste.Overall a really good meal. Give them a visit, I think you will enjoy it.

The first time I came here, last summer, I asked for recommendations. Raven suggested the meatloaf. I donât like meatloaf. I have never ordered it anywhere before. Took her advice. Oh my gosh! Probably some of the best food I have ever eaten. Sweet potato fries with the spicy caramel sauce canât be beat! Large portions and reasonably priced. Every time I come I have to get the meatloaf. I would like to try something else, but itâs just too good. Raven is the best waitress I have ever had. I always ask for her. I rarely go, that sheâs not working. When I do, itâs disappointing, but everything is still great! Everyone is always so nice. Donât hesitate to substitute. Iâve never asked that it was not done, with ease I might add. Canât go wrong ordering anything. My gang does order something other than the meatloaf occasionally. Everything everybody has ever ordered was very good. Please consider opening one in Danville, VA. Getting ready to go back home. Iâll be back next summer! I will miss Raven and the meatloaf!

We love this place! So much so that we catered them for our wedding! The jalapeño cream cheese burger is so tasty. The perfect amount of each ingredient. Also their seafood Mac & cheese is amazing! The lobster sauce mixed with little balls of pasta holy cow! But my absolute favorite is the artichoke dip! Amazing!! A must try!
