My husband and I always love to eat at TGIF. The variety of food is great, and their Ribs with Jack Daniel sauce is fantastic ! Try the Calamari salad as well, it's yum.. Just an advice for the staff though, clear the plates from the table when both party is finished eating, not one by one.. Overall, the food is great and staff are friendly.

At one time, La Vetta was by far the best restaurant on CdO, south of Manila for that matter. We'd make excuses to drive from Dipokog to eat at La Vetta. But Carsten moved to Canada. Canada's gain, CdO's loss. Then for several years, nothing special. Circa 1850, with a few cooks and waiters trained by Carsten was the best of a so-so bunch. Now there's another real, world-class restaurant in CdO: Resto Freeno. Our first meal there. My spiced lamp cutlets had a better flavor than the rack of lamb at KRI, the top restaurant in Dumaguete (and at half the price). (The lamb meat itself was not as tender as at KRI, however.) My wife's salmon received nothing but praise from her, a harsh critic. The blueberry and chocolate gelato were flavorful and smoothe. GREAT meal. I'll be back for lunch tomorrow before we return home. COME. We will come back too as soon as possible.

This is the place to satisfy your cravings for chicken wings...they got it all...Asian, Lemon, Hot, Very Hot, Classic! They also serve other meals -- roast beef sizzlers, sisig, burgers, sandwiches -- snacks and deserts. Ideal for barkadas/group dining. Location may be a factor as it is along JR Borja Extension, on the same side and in close proximity to Steve's Barbecue. Place is small but seldom noisy nor too crowded. Some may find it distant but I prefer this to having to go through big malls for eating. There's always space for parking, right out front or somewhere across the road. They also accept takeaways...and can be called in advance for your orders (880-7284).
