I reviewed Olive on Main over 3 years ago and thought an update would be in order. It is still a great restaurant in all respects. Food is consistently good, the staff is always pleasant and quick. The staff has very little turnover which almost always means good management and good working conditions. They have a great selection of wines and liquors and a very good happy hour. Nadal the owner is there fairly often and always has a good word to say. I can see them as the number 1 restaurant in Laurel someday.

We experienced a pleasant lunch at BJâs. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip for our starter. Very tasty and the chips were warm. The menu boasted a deep dish Chicago style pizza âwith a California twistâ. It was fine but just need to mention that this Chicagoan was surprised to find the cheese on the top rather than the bottom and not as much tomato sauce. That must be the California part. We also ordered the âenlightened spicy peanut chicken with soba noodles. It was excellent!Good atmosphere and clean restrooms. I plan to return and check out more of the menu offerings (and maybe try another brew from their extensive list).

This restaurant was built to take advantage of the outside patio in good weather and plenty of room inside whenit's not nice outside. Salads and Hamburgers are the big menu items but other things are available. The Mushroom Swiss burger was done just right with plenty of sauteed mushrooms and by request sauteed onions as well. Tomato and lettuce topped things off. Juicy and flavorful we enjoyed the sandwich. We also ordered a Create Your Own Salad - fresh greens and toppings were tossed in a champagne vinaigrette and the salad was very tasty. You can twist and turn this entree a lot of ways and make it your own creation. Service was good even though our server Cat was stretched but always pleasant to us and the surrounding customers.

I love Klobys...especially their smoked brisket chili...but sometimes (maybe 25%) the quality seems to be erratic. Once had some chili that tasted entirely of leftover baked beans and today the brisket sandwich was burnt rock hard around the edges. Bottom line, great food but watch out for days they are re-cooking leftovers and dont be afraid to send it back if there is a problem.

Not able to have everyone together for Easter today was our âWeek after Easter family extravaganza â!!Beef brisket was melt in your mouth and the pulled pork BBQ pig perfection. This was our first visit to EJ's. We loved the food, the presentation and the general feel of the dining room. Disappointments were the bleed-over noise from the TVs in the bar and the fact that the menu is a bit pricey. These disappointments aren't severe enough to keep us away in the future, but we probably won't go back as often as we might otherwise.

A favorite of our lunch group was the Chinese chicken salad with oriental plum dressing. It is not cheap. Ordered it under new name and the chicken was so skimpy, it was like lettuce on steroids w/o protein. Shame- better to raise process than blindside the customers with such.

We found Lib's Grill through Yelp and thought the menu looked pretty decent. My son decided this was where he wanted to go for his 21st birthday dinner. We happened to be there on a Tuesday and took advantage of the lobster special, which was excellent--a whole lot of food in 3 courses! The crab dip and MD crab soup were wonderful. The desserts were AMAZING! And our server, Daniyal, was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave suggestions when asked. We will definitely be returning!Weâre so glad that you found us! And that your first visit was so fantastic! Lobster night was a great night to stop in on, and we love to hear about how great the courses were! Lilly is the best waitress, she took care of a group of 14 like a champ. Courteous, professional and fast. Got all the orders correctly and checked on us the whole time. She deserves to be the employee of the month, she is simply the best. Out of all the green turtles Iâve been to this is by far the best.
