Well worth a visit if in the area. Had tacos & the parful fries which were delicious along with good cocktails. Called in at lunch time and although busy got seated quickly, service good - quick and efficient. Good value for amount of food we got for it. Great atmosphere - chilled out dining!

Called in for lunch on Saturday which is not really unusual for us as regular visitors.Lunch was fab as always and great menu choice. Served by fast and efficient staff. Great place to meet up with friends in a quirky little pub with big atmosphere. Craic is mighty, as they say! What saddens me are reviews that don't describe the place and vibe too accurately. As grown up reviewers you would think that people could turn the other cheek if you have a personality clash with someone? I thought as you got older this was easier to do? But, obviously not for some.Hi Willash88 Sure it's nice to be nice and twice as nice to know how to be nice. That stated your observation re " reviews that don't describe a venue and vibe too accurately"-----is on the money. This as opposed to opinion on or about other homo sapiens-- who work in a premises but may not be on duty at the time of a visit of other patrons or indeed perhaps no longer employed at the premises is a "bum steer". Thank you for your input

Ideally I would give this place 1.5, but I can’t. Group of girls attended for an occasion, I was rather disappointed. We were in from early on, while I love live music, it was blaring, so much so, you were shouting at those next to you to be heard. The live bands were good, but I would rather not have music blaring while I’m trying to eat. It was like eating your dinner in a nightclub at 6.30pm!On to the food- chicken starter was ok, just about warm. I ordered the burger for the main, it was just awful. The burger had cheese melted on it and I also added a lot of ketchup. But it was as dry as Gandhi’s flip flop. I added more ketchup, to no avail. I ended up eating the bap and left the dry burger and watery tomato on the plate. Cocktails- I enjoyed the porn star martin, but most of the group didn’t. I ordered other cocktails which were just OK. The solero cocktail sounds great, but wasn’t as flavoursome as I had expected, more ice crunching than taste. Wasn’t fussed on the wine list either. My biggest annoyance of the night, they used a red stamp on your arm to allow you access to upstairs. I was wearing a cream top (only 2nd wearing) - within an hour, the top was stained in 3 places with the red stamp rubbing off. I’ve managed to get 2 out so far, the third doesn’t appear to be shifting. So a newish top has been ruined. Not happy. Much preferred it when it was cafe vaudeville and have no plans to returnHi Lealoo. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience with us. I am disappointed to hear it was a negative one I will be picking up with the team with regards to quality of both the food and drinks your received as this is not to the standard that I expect the team to deliver. Our apologies with regards to the stamp, we will look at a different system for this.We really appreciate your feedbackMatthewGeneral Manager

Having been here once before, we decided to treat ourselves to a couple of drinks in the cocktail bar recently. It is expensive compared to other Belfast bars but the decor and service are so much better than elsewhere. The cocktail menu is long but it didn’t include the two cocktails that we wished to order - a frozen daiquiri and a pornstar martini. This is why I’ve only given it 4 stars. We ordered other cocktails instead. Complimentary nibbles accompanied the drinks, and we were advised when last orders were approaching, which was a nice touch. Our bill was brought at the very end, which was nice, rather than after each order. This bar is well worth a visit - for a special treat!

Visited here on our first night, for the cocktails 4pm-10pm. A great selection served by very enthusiastic and friendly staff. The building itself is a lovely place to be, and we enjoyed it so much we booked the carvery for the next day! Ended up chatting to a couple of locals and getting some other recommendations too. A must visit if you're in that part of Belfast.

Muriel’s is always an old favourite of ours so called in for a couple of martinis and had the two platters one of cheese and one of hummus, just as a little nibble. Then we had to move table as where we were sitting had been previously reserved but that wasn’t a problem. We moved on into the bar area and had our main courses all of which were great.Muriel’s has a nice friendly “front sitting room” feel. Always great staff excellent food and the cocktail list is wonderful
