On the 4th of June i had the pleasure of attending my daughter in laws 40th birthday dinner celebration at the Viceroy restaurant. It turned out to be a lovely evening, there was a warm welcome as you entered the service all round was superb everyone helped when ordering your meal for those who were not familiar with an Indian menu. The food was beautifully cooked it arrived for everyone at the same time and was presented excellently. Thanks to everyone at the Viceroy it was my wife and I first visit but it will not be the last.

Called in on a Thursday night when you would think it would be busy but nobody in, the service was not the best to say the least good job it wasn't busy hate to think how that would of worked out people's starters coming before others popadoms the Indian guy on the front seamed new or something, the chef came out and sorted it all out thankfully after that came like it should of a hour earlier couldn't grumble at the food when it did come in the right order though I think it needs Gordon Ramsey in there to sort it out lol only rated it 2 because the service was the worst I've experienced in a long time at a Indian restaurant shame large place and empty needs sorting

Perfect every time. We eat here once a week because we can guarantee great food with excellent service. The staff are fantastic, patient and very helpful. The food is constantly delicious. Could not recommend this restaurant enough. 10/10 in every aspect.

Welcome was good and service excellent. Food was inconsistent within our group though. Some was great, some was really not brilliant. Those who enjoyed their food were very happy indeed but the couple who were not so keen were disappointed. Good range of curries on the menu and some interesting house specials. Worth a visit but there are Indian restaurants with more consistent food.

I have been a couple of times at this restaurant during some business trips to Nottingham. Having been at several Indian in different countries this is probably the best I have visited. Extensive menu with several options of Indian cuisine, large wine list, elegant decoration and good service. In one of the visits it was my birthday and they bought cake with candle, very much appreciated. I will be back with colleagues during our next trip to the city.

We do come here fairly regularly and are never disappointed.Service is 5 star as the staff are superb.The food is delicious and the menu offers a lot of choice of great authentic Indian food.Chicken Mehkani is always a winner!We will certainly be back!

Visited here on a Friday night with a group of friends and we really enjoyed ourselves. The staff treated us like a cross between old friends and royalty and nothing was too much trouble.The range of curry's is impressive and everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. Would definitely visit here again

This was our first visit and we will most certainly return. The service was welcoming, warm and very efficient. The food was superb and the Hyderabadi Chicken Dham Biriyani and Saag Chicken were among the best dishes that we have tasted in any Indian restaurant in the UK. Highly recommended.

Very good service and the food was excellent. We have learned from previous experience that having poppadoms as a starter and then a main dish is sufficient as the portions are generous- having a starter as well last was just too much. Highly recommended
