We ate here as a family (two teenagers) and everyone loved it (I have venison ragout). The salad bar was superb, the best we came across all week. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The place was nicely full and the atmosphere was just lovely. The place has a self service zone and a zone where they serve food. I would recommend the last. They have delicious wine pasta which is a must try. Steaks are also great. Not just sausages and fries. The restaurant is located by piste 55 and 48. I would recommend their hot wine too. By the way they have free WiFi.

We've been eating at the Forellenstube for years now and have never had a bad meal.Excellent trout done in numerous ways from basic steamed or done in butter and almonds to garlic and bacon. Also a great selection of salmon trout fillets - cordon bleu, baked in pastry, in a creamy sauce to mame but a few.For non-fish eaters there's always at least one meat dish on the menu each day.Finish it off with a lovely hot chocolate cake, pancakes with chocolate sauce and ice cream or if you have room their delicious Kaiserschmarrn!No frills but All at a reasonable price.

âWhite outâ on the mountain. Dash!! Or ruder words that TA wonât accept. Back to hotel and changed. After wandering aimlessly round the village, fell upon this place in the quiet top corner of the town. Glad we did. Unlike previous reviewers, we were not bothered about it being different (go to st anton sir and spend â¬400 on your lunch), we just wanted tasty. Thatâs what we got. Great goulash, good spaghetti, tasty breads and meat spreads. Service good, polite and there when you needed it. A great lunch experience. Definitely better than you would get up the mountain!!Danke für Ihren Besuch bei uns und dass Sie sich die Zeit für die positive Bewertung genommen haben!Bis(s) bald beim Perauer!

Had the loveliest meal here! Wine was lovely and inexpensive. Broad menu with lots of local dishes Inc noodles ( a bit like gnocchi but eggs) very very filling!Delicious sauce and really well cooked meat. Husband had the local bacon dumpling soup which was amazing. Great service. Very attentive waitress and speedy service.

We spent there 5 nights with halbpension. It was splendid! Every evening, we were allowed to choose something in the "à la carte" style and everything we´ve had was cooked and served that even in 5* hotel (or Michelin star restaurant) would not be ashamed of. Highly recommended to go there and to have a fancy dinner there. Definitely are coming back next year!

We decided to call in after noticing a Queue the day before. It was well worth the visit, the Tyrol Grostl was amazing. We had Ribs and a very large ham roll We then had lunch here the following 4 days. It gets a bit crowded but so efficient you don't wait that long

Lovely evening dinner along the outer terrace of the restaurant with cool evening temperatures and view of the town church. Food was great (one of the least salty Austrian foods Iâve had since my arrival a week ago), portion was also just right. The garlic bread is mind-blowingly yummy!Wide selection of drinks. Chill atmosphere. Special compliments to our waiter Simon, who kept up with his good and steady service throughout dinner, and we didnât feel out of place. Most importantly, it is very reasonably priced. Good job Restaurant Neue Post!

Having booked ahead of time (recommend) based solely on TA reviews, I felt reasonably confident that this would be good. First off the building and setting has a genuine traditional appearance, and a stunning vista. Good start.Staff were very friendly, and welcoming offering up genuine good natured banter (it's a word get over it).The food was very good, in terms of taste it was spot on. Everything was tasting like a better version of the food you are used to in your life of consuming mass produced produce. Not only this but all the dishes were prepared very well. I would happily give this place 5/6 based on food alone. my wife and I spend the evening for our anniversary at Sieghards and enjoyed the "Geniesser Dinner" . Excellent and attentive Service, well balanced menue of appetizer, main course and dessert and accompanying wines, a perfect balance of Food and Wine, congratulations to the chef and Sommelier !!The experience was well worth every euro !!
