Two meals , one evening and one picnic lunch were prepared for our group of 18 plus locals. An amazing $15 per head was charged for a buffet style meal catering for all food types. Three mains, three salads, bread and rice were on the table. It was an amazing gourmet experience. The lunch was similarly well prepared with a range of offerings suitable for a day at the beach. Both meals included a sweet and were elegantly prepared.

Wonderful little café and food shop in Whitemark on Flinders Island. Serves tubs of food, such as macaroni and cheese. One day there was a special of pulled pork buns. Excellent coffee and a great barista. Also sells speciality foods, and gins and wines from the region. Must visit when on the island.

The restaurant wasn't open when we visited - but the same kitchen serves the bar same food. Great meals for all of us. I had crumbed garfish with vegetables, others had steaks, curry and rice, battered flake & chips (considered better than previous night!) and beef stir fry. All generous portions, hot and filling. Drinks were expensive - but that is what you expect on an island! Tavern has recently been refurbished and this process continues. Staff very friendly and helpful.
