After finishing work nearby, we dropped by this area with a cluster of restaurants. We peeked through the window and seeing other patrons enjoying themselves, we wanted to give this one a try. We went with the beef noodle soup recommended by our waitress, though I think she might be the owner there. We didn't speak German but she had an English menu and a heartwarming smile. We ordered a beef, duck, and a pork dish - see photos attached. The service was fantastic and we enjoyed the authentic Thai cuisine. If you like spicy, ask for the dry hot spices to sprinkle on the food or just order the food spicy. The sprinkles were spicy and flavorful, not just heat. (The soup was only on the German menu and I am glad we gave it a try!). We hope to be back for lunch tomorrow and taste other dishes. Enjoy.

In der Region gibt es wenig vergleichbares. Die Speisen und Getränke sind etwas besonderes (selbst gemacht) und von guter Qualität. Die Auswahl an Tee ist sehr gross und lecker. Wir sind sehr zufrieden.

Went for dinner with friends. Put raw meat/seafood on a plate, pick a sauce, and they prepare it for you! Reasonable prices, and all you can eat. Good value for groups and kids too!! I recommend if you like Chinese food, which I do!

I visit Remscheid on a regular basis & staying in the same hotels you soon get bored with the menus. Thankfully I found the Himalaya & what a find. The staff are friendly & courteous me not speaking German & them not speaking any English but we manage to understand one another. There is a selection of raw ingredients meat, fish & veg which the chef will cook for you on the teppanyaki grill with or without a sauce of your choice & there are several to choose from. Then there is a selection of cooked Chinese dishes to choose from including Duck, Pork, Beef & Chicken. The containers are quite small but that means that they are filled frequently with fresh food. Sushi, Fruits, Ice Cream & a Chocolate Fountain are also available.I have lost count of the number of times that I have visited & the number of colleagues that I have taken there & nobody has nothing other than good comments to make.I will be back as often as I continue to travel to Remscheid.
