1st time we visited this Indian restaurant after recommendation from friends.Lovely food, beautifully presented. Went for a honey badami chicken and king prawn rezzala, both dishes were full of flavours.Canât wait to go back, already booked a table for next week

We have used this village restaurant for a number of years, mainly for take-away food, however the restaurant always looks clean and well presented. Plenty of choice on the menu although we tend to stick to our favourite dishes. Food is cooked well, very tasty and plenty of it. They always have the correct order on time, we have never had to wait. Staff friendly. Never a complaint in all the years we have been using the restaurant.

My sister lives in Tadley and took us to this restaurant on Saturday evening, we were not disappointed. The staff were very attentive and there was quite a wide menu for this place which was eat as much as you like. We were given time to decide what to have for our starter and middle courses. We all chose different so it gave us a taster off lots of different dishes. We also chose differently for our main course and it meant you coiuld try dishes you had not perhaps thought of. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was well cooked and nicely presented. All in All a great night out, but you do need to book as its very poplar.

We visited on a Tuesday evening, quite early. The restaurant is located down some stairs. I don't know if they have alternative access for those who can't manage stairs.The restaurant is very spacious, and beautifully decorated. The staff are friendly without being overbearing, and they are very efficient, helpful and polite. There is an excellent choice, our food arrived quite quickly, and it was delicious. The portions were quite large, and we were unable to finish. I was going to ask for a "doggy bag", but the waiter offered it unprompted.The prices are in keeping with other Chinese restaurants around the town, but I have to say that the overall experience was a cut above the rest.

Another fabulous evening at Yamazaki. Personal favourites were the duck gyoza, chicken teriyaki yakisoba and coconut ice cream mochi. My friend loved the extremely fresh sashimi. Service, as always, was perfect. Will definitely be back. At last Basingstoke has a fabulous independent restaurant!

Heard some good things about this restaurant so thought we would give it a try. Went for lunch which was very good. The food was prepared freshly for each meal and cooked to order. They were attentive to dietary needs and as my daughter is Vegan made an extra special effort. One of the dishes was described as veggie but they made it vegan for her. The cost was good too, we will certainly be back. Only thing for us was that some of the dishes had unusual names which we had not heard of.Thank you for your positive feedback. Our restaurant team always helpful to all our Guests to accommodate their dietary needs. Our chefs take pride to come to the table to explain the dishes.We know that it is bit difficult to understand the names of our dishes, but those are the authentic names of the dishes from India. Just visited Maki before heading to work in town. It was excellent. The food was reasonable and plentiful. With 15% off before 6pm it offered excellent value. Very impressed- will return next time Iâm in town.

Came here for a lunchtime visit with work colleagues. On arrival, we managed to park in the small car park but another colleague was shooed away by an angry shopkeeper.Not a very inspiring sight, the restaurant over a dilapidated empty shop. You enter through a side door then up a narrow staircase.Nice clean napery but disappointed to find lunchtime express options as shown on the website not available so paid over twice what was expected.My lamb Rogan Josh was flavoursome and everyone seemed to enjoy their choices.Service efficient with plates removed as soon as finished with.Unfortunately as soon as I got home I got the tummy trots as did my colleague sitting next to me, must have been something we ate!We were the only customers in at lunchtime apart from a chap collecting a takeaway so a lot of staff hovering around whilst we ate.Wouldn't return in a hurry.
