We came to the bar here both nights we were in Tam Coc. Nice drink selection, atmosphere and pool table. Outdoor roof terrace means you can watch the activity in the street below.Also booked our onward travel here as it was hassle free (no pushing or scamming).

We went here based on the positive reviews and it lived up to the billing. We have two young kids and they really likes the food which is fantastic as they are very fussy eaters. The ginger chicken was superb, chicken noodles and spring rolls and the squid rings were all flavourful and fresh tasting. There were no artificial taste in The mouth and the noodles were good.Washed down with fresh coconut it was lovely. The white wine wasnât good as it was local - but to be expected in Vietnam. Friendly and helpful staff and reasonable prices around 100k a head without wine. Definitely would recommend them. It looks basic but donât be put off, it was clean and functional.

Viet Bamboo is a fantastic, small restaurant located in the heart of Tam Coc, just up the road from the row boats that take you down the river and through the rice fields. Run by a couple (and often just one person) the waiting time for a meal may be long if there are lots of people, but the quantity and quality of food make it worth the wait. The waiters / cooks are kind and cheerful and the restaurant has a unique Vietnamese atmosphere to it, with very reasonable prices. Thank you!

We went to this restaurant almost time during our stay at the park.all food were delicious and fresh,clean.the best grilled chicken is recommended at this restaurant.the staff were very friendly,it is The small restaurant but very clean with the great atmosphere,you will ask any questions for the local tours from the manager here.strongly recommend everyone to try here.

The food was very delicious and the family very friendly. The Owner asked me, where I wanted to go next and I told him about my problem about how to book a Bus for this day. After this he offered to help me booking a Bus and took me to the Busstation aswell! Such a nice guy! Just came from Tuan Tu and it was fabulous. We were staying up the road at the Emeralda and this place is walking distance. The owners could not be more welcoming. The food was delicious, interesting spices and beautifully cooked. The owners two sons, Tuan and Tu came by our table to talk during our meal, which we loved. We had the roast duck and grilled goat as well as the fried corn appetizer. When it first came we thought we would never be able to finish it all. Somehow it disappeared. Ice cold beer, fantastic food and a beautiful family to welcome us to Ninh Binh. This place is not fancy but nothing would have been better. Dear Sir and Madam,We are very glad to seeing your great review, we were being with you and your wonderful family, when you return to Vietnam we will look for to seeing you and your family again.All the best to you ! I went there with my wife to eat something local in a relaxed atmosphere and that´s exactly what we found. An Australian couple from the hostal recomended it and we are so glad they did. The food was just as good as all around Vietnam, but having an English speaking host really welcoming was new. Thanks a lot!!!!

I've been finding vegetarian food quite easily in Vietnam but since arriving in Ninh Binh it's been a little struggle. This is my top recommendation for veg and vegan. Overall food was very tasty and fresh, I went for steamed spring roll and vege rice and it's still a great place to come if you are not vegetarian or vegan

This is a very cozy restaurant with great service from the owner. The dishes were much bigger portions than everywhere else we ate in Vietnam and prices very good as well.Even though this restaurant isn't as highly ranked as Trung Tuyet next door, I would highly recommend it for dinner."Thank you for spending time evaluating us! We were guided by advice from tripadvisor, my girlfriend and I went to this restaurant at the end of the night, the staff were very busy ,we asked for fried chicken and spring rolls, the average food . This restaurant was highly appreciated but its quality was so bad. when we returned to the hotel we had stomachache and we could not sleep .we did everything we could to get the best preparation for coming back from vacation and coming home after the trip. I definitely donât recommend this restaurant, it was not the best, on the contrary it was the worst restaurant ; i had since i came to vietnam.
