I went to eat there and no idea how it would be....have lived in Thailand and eaten much thai food....only to find this little pearl by the bay in Bayview and also the decor is a sight with open large open windows looking up through Pittwater...simply delightful and relaxing must say and BYO. Food was a delicious taste and one to remember....one for the list of places for those who enjoy taste sensations. Waiters and waitresses also delightful.

We were served by two willing but sadly inexperienced waiters who were difficult to understand and who did not take the orders properly. Mixed entrée for 4 involving dips / chutney supplied barely enough papadums for one and when extra were requested, these were charged on the bill. Stingy.Meals were good and presented nicely.Conversation was very difficult as the room is a concrete box with few soft wall decorations to reduce the noise of other patrons.

My wife and I felt like eating Japanese food and decided to go local. We live in Newport so we wandered into Sankuku expecting a typical suburban Japanese menu and meal. Instead we were treated to a gourmet experience you would expect to find in a high priced Sydney restaurant. The menu was interesting in that it was Japanese with French and other western influences. It wasnât a case of westernising Japanese cuisine to please Australian tastes, but rather a talented chef utilising his vast fine food experiences. Everything we ordered was fresh, creative and outstanding. The Miso Salmon and big eye tuna were memorable. The price was a bit higher than your typical local Japanese restaurant, but half of what you would pay for that quality in the city. Look forward to going back again and again to try everything on the menu.

Found the service to be efficient and friendly backed up by very good food at reasonable prices. Can get very busy so suggest a reservation on Friday/ Saturday nights.

It is a little restaurant tucked away in the shopping strip at Newport. We invited two friends to come with us because they enjoy Indian food too. I booked on the Dimmi website and we were given a 30% discount on the food bill. We shared the onion bhaji and lamp chops for an entree and they were both delicious. We then shared four main meals and I picked the salmon curry. It was delicious but the size of the salmon was a bit small. We also had fluffy white rice and garlic naan. We will be coming back and it is only a few minutes drive away from our house.

Yummy food..great pricesWe got takeaway so cant speak for in dining service but we ordered over phone..order was ready the minute we stepped in .. containers were filled to the brim .. nice flavours .. real meats used .. not too much onion like other places..would definitely eat here again

Loved sitting in the back courtyard in such a relaxing setting. The delicious, fresh food was fantastic with a great variety of choices on the menu. The Thai food is interspersed with Vietnamese and Cambodian flavours. The Chicken Larb was sensational! Appreciated the friendly and efficient service. Will be back soon!
