A very nice classical Polanco house with a great terrace. Service is Ok. Too bad the food is terrible. Was there for dinner: gohan rice was overcooked. The cheese skewers were undercooked. I asked for some lemons, and they appeared to be used, already semi-squeezed. The wasabe on my plate appeared old, not fresh at all, it was dark green and hard rather than light colored. I asked for some fresh wasabe and they did bring it... but I lost my appetite. What a pity to have bad food served, in such a nice setting.

The food was exquisite. The placeâs decor and architecture are very traditional. We tried different dishes such as the vegetable samosas, kanthi kebabs, chicken tikka masala, tandoori fish, mushroom matter and the aloo gobhi. Everything tasted great and the spices were right on point. Butter naan was a great addition to the chicken tikka too.

Ordered steak. Cooked ok. Miso soup NO good, tasted bad. Salad ok. They have a computerized wine list on a tablet, rather stupid. Also not a great selection of wine and overly priced. Best thing was the atmosphere of the location. Tori Tori offers delicious average Japanese cuisine. The place is quite hip with high walls and a very nice outdoor terrace. The inside is quite modern as well. It does not give you the feeling of being at a traditional Japanese restaurant as others do. The atmosphere here is modern, relaxed and with nice music on the background.We gave a variety of items a try to see how Tori Tori compared to other Japanese restaurants that weâve been to. Everything was quite good. It does meet expectations in quality, taste and service. We tried the âHamachi trufaâ which was marinated in truffle oil and had a bit of garlic mixed along with it. It was quite good. Probably the best thing we had. Have to call out though that their buttered clams were amazing, some of the best that Iâve had and the other people who joined me agreed.To do a fair comparison we delved into some niguiris (urchin, clam, toro), fried tempura, sushi rolls and steamed dumplings. They all were very tasty and did not disappoint. Nothing above and beyond, but all good. Have to call out that for dessert we got a matcha pie which was incredible and very different. It definitely stood out when trying to satisfy our sweet tooth. Tori Tori is a good option to check out, yet it does not outrank other Japanese places we've reviewed.

My experience with Indian food is mostly with UK Indian restaurants.I can easily say that the food is great and on par with the best establishments that we visited in during our numerous trips to the UK.Ample vegetarian options. Friendly staff.Menu is not in English but the dishes names are in English and the owner speaks excellent English and helped us.Highly recommended

have been here many times, it is if not the best at least the more reliable Chinese in town, more american in character than a true restaurant from the mainland. Beautiful settings and great service. But, the prices of wines seem to go up every time I go, tripling the price versus what you find in wine merchants is no longer enough, the practice now is to cuadruple the store price, yes, cuadruple. Hunan is part of a succesful chain of restaurants that also include the Guadianas, very good mexican food, same outrageous prices for wines, stay away if you like to eat with wine unless you are on an expense account.Hello, Thanks for sharing your opinion, we'll take into consideration your suggestions to improve our customer service. First thing first: you will be on Masaryk so you are definitely paying for real estate. That being said, the ambience, food and service at Jin San are excellent. A great place for a date night or an event to celebrate.
