Well, we came here mid September for diner with my boyfriend based on the good reviews. Our experience was not so good unfortunately! We had to wait more than an hour for our main dish, but the worst part was that I found a hair in my plate! I explained that to the waitress but she did not seem to understand! Than I explain that to another waitress! She picked up my plate because I obviously could not continue eating after that! No apology at all and the plate was charged! In western countries, they would have apologized and gave me a new plate or would have given me a free plate. This was not the case! Plus, we saw some cockroaches under the tables while waiting! And the best part was that the next morning, we both woke up with traveler's diarheea! So I can not recommend this place!Hello, please can you edit this post and tell us what you ate, i am confused as my Husband is present in the restaurant every night and not one of our staff or my Husband recalls this incident. Firstly all of our staff wear full scruff, headscarf, we respect their religion, secondly our policy is that if there is a problem with a meal we replace it absolutely, so i am confused with this review which is your first one. I would also point out that we do not have numbers of cockroaches, yes you get the odd one but as we spray regularly in 4 years its not an issue.

Do you want to learn how to cook real Indonesian food. Just give me a call or text message. Only small private groups.
One of the best warung on the island of Gili Air, in a quite hidden street among lush vegetation lies this very local and rustic warung restaurant. The chef is a local celebrity due to his cooking classes. Few traditional dishes, some with also a creative twist. We had a problem with garlic allergy and the chef himself (Hero by name and by fact) came out to deal with us and he prepared on the spot something only for us and saved the night! Be aware that no alcohol is served and a few lazy cats sleep on the chairs. Prizes are amazingly cheap. Absolutely not to be missed in Gili Air if you want the real but not too real streetfood atmosphere of Indonesia

Jali Kitchen serves authentic Vietnamese, Thai, Malay, Indonesian and Western homestyle cooking in a casual dining indoor/out environment. Our curries are homemade from scratch and all menu items are modestly priced.
This was our favourite restaurant on Gili T. We liked it so much we had dinner there twice.Food is a cross section of asian dishes - thai, vietnamese, indian and indonesian.Authentic flavours with bite - we particuarly liked the snapper curry dish.Nice atmosphere, efficient staff and good prices away from the hustle of the main drag.Highly recommended.

Last month me and my girlfriend, visited Sikara Lombok Hotel again. We get surprised when we noticed that they had already finished their espectacular restaurant. In one word; Amazing. Food is extremly good. It goes from healthy mediterránean cuisine as paella or pantumaca to veggies food.It doenst matter if u are staying or not in the hotel. Everyone is able to enter to the restaurant and have such a delicious food. Its up to you.To conclude, here i leave you two photos of the breackfast that we had last time. ( continental breakfast and mango smoothie bowl)Thank you for everything guys! Hope to see you again!

Firda Warung at Gili Air,beside Classico Pizza Italiano Restaurant /Scallywag Smuggler. We provide Indonesian Food and we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We had to go down a side road which didnât really indicate there was a restaurant at the end of it but once we were there, the food was sublime. Clearly a typical kitchen with some amazing dishes. The Chicken Curry is the best I have ever had! Absolute must.

Welcome to Pituq Waroeng to enjoy Indonesian food with a unique twist. While respecting the original flavors of aromatic Indonesian food, we give it our own interpretation and make it vegan. You get to eat as the locals do, by sharing the food whilst mixi
I loved everything about the restaurant. The location, ambience, the vibe. But the stand out is the FOOD! I'm not vegetarian/vegan so I was a bit hesitant to try at first. The Jackfruit Curry is delicious. The Mango Salad is amazing. All fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff are all welcoming and attentive. Looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended.

My partner and I visited this restaurant on the strength of the reviews and were not disappointed. Located in the north east of Mataran just off a main road with several restaurants the restaurant is very modern with a glass Rollpin - visited this restaurant on the strength of the reviews and not disappointed. Located in Mataran along a road with several restaurants Rollpin is a very modern restaurant offering seating inside a glass box or outside on a terrace. We received a very warm welcome from the staff on arrival and enjoyed the samosas and the Indonesian spring rolls with dipping sauce followed by the Nasi Goreng and the cheesy chicken. The only slight disappointment was that there was no beef (which I was looking forward to sampling based on the rave reviews) and the Nasi Goreng had the chicken substituted for small prawns served with shell on which were tricky to peel. A round trip by taxi from Mangsit took just over an hour and cost IDR Rp 180,000 (approx. £10) with the driver waiting at the restaurant whilst we had our meal. Live music was provided by an excellent acoustic guitarist and the waitress invited us to make requests and to come up and sing. The outside terrace is adjacent to a leafy area with the river beneath and the restaurant provides complimentary mosquito spray. We had extremely attentive service provided throughout our meal and were made to feel really welcome. On the Monday night we visited there was a lucky dip and we won a free dessert (âcrepe pinâ). It was similar to ice cream made from cane sugar with small mini banana pancakes and was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a trip to the capital to visit Rollpin.
