We ate at PHO 68 during the 2018 Halloween Lithgow Festival. Here are our experiencesPROs The food was PHOntastic! I ordered PHO Beef medium rare and it was delicious. The toilet was clean so the kitchen must be. During my travels to Sydney, I will now have lunch in this resto and skip Maccas. The service was good. Price is good aswell CONs None

We saw that this chinese had the best reviews for the town of Lithgow. The decor was very dated and well used, the entry and outside view looked shabby.We arrived at 7:26pm and were told that the server would have to "ask the cook if she wanted to cook more because she usually likes to shut at 8pm." There is something to be said about the discomfort of being made to feel like the restaurant is doing YOU the favor of cooking for you.We ordered an entree for my partner who was not hungry and asked for a small vegetarian rice for me and garlic vegetables.The server then proceeded to the kitchen to talk loudly to the chef about how we would want all the food out at once because "the entree is for him but she is eating the rest! She is not sharing" little more awkwardness.The Garlic vegetables were still quite aldente and the rice was the nicest part (which we did share), all food was on the bland side.

Been coming here for years via work commitments. This place is equal to and better than a lot of places in bigger towns. Very good service and reasonably priced. Great cheap lunch specials, but the real meals are the winners, Gow Gee for entree are a winner and i particularly like the chili chicken "extra hot" really packs a punch but with wonderful flavors. I you are ever heading through "WANG" try this restaurant it will not disappoint..
