Gänseliesel (Goose Girl) is the city's most famous resident, a 1901 fountain built in front of the 14th century Rathaus (Town Hall), which today houses the city's tourist office. But even Goose Girl can't escape the college students, who by tradition upon receiving their PhDs must climb and kiss her, making her "the most kissed girl in the world."

I had not visited this restaurant for several years after several bad experiences. Thankfully things have improved enormously; I had an excellent lunch with my family. It is now, once again, a really good Chinese restaurant and I will certainly be back.

Went there for lunch. Food was very good. Service was fast. We had a soup, and two dishes with rice. Do not ask me to spell their names. One was a curry-type dish. None was bred-crumbs type dish. We enjoyed all three of them ;-) Average price about 9 euro per dish.Next time we want lunch in the city -- this is definitely one of our top choices. Try it!

The food is great, but I went there with friends on Saturday night without making a reservation, around 20 hrs. The food took like 1 hour- hour and a half to arrive, my friends were annoyed, tired and wanted to leave. There was a table of adults that arrived later than us but they were served first.. it made us feel that they neglected us on purpose because weâre students, and didnât care about our opinion or comfort and rather focused on the adults because âthey have more money and are more valuable customersâ (at least thatâs how we felt). Also, I understand that the restaurant can be full and get delayed... but then you should give something like a discount or a free desert or something, but they didnât. This is why I put three stars, because the customer shouldnât have to be OK with these things. But the food was great... so I wish this was a one time thing, because I would really want to come back. Please, in the future, if you see you did something like that to a customer, try to compensate somehow. Otherwise, it just looks bad.

I ordered more than one starters to try different things. They're cheap and tasty, but the dishes are small. I recommend ordering several cheap dishes and be delighted by different flavours at the same time. The shrimp starter is my favorite.

Modern interior, not at all kitschy. Good chairs. Soft Thai backround music. Very friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful food which can mostly be served as mild, European hot and Thai hot. Super! Great biological wines. Decent prices. Highly recommended.

This restaurant welcomes you with a spacious and clean parking lot, great exterior and interior design, extreme cleanliness and a lots of seating. The buffet ist huge, offers a lot of variety at great taste and is available for a low price. A superior experience.

This restaurant is located on the West side of AngerstraÃe in the South-West corner of Göttingen city centre. The nearest parking is in the multi-storey car park on the north side of Groner-Tor-StraÃe, a few minutes' walk away.This is a small and popular restaurant, so booking is advised. In the summer, the street facade can be opened to provide semi-outside dining for the nearest tables.There is a reasonable choice of both food and drink on the menu. The curries are tasty, but none are authentically hot/spicy as they have been tailored to suit the German palate. Curries come with rice and nan bread and therefore offer good value for money.The staff are friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere was cozy, the service was good and friendly, the food was fantastic and the dessert was to die for. Vietal Village has definately landed a spot on our list of favorite restaurants. The restaurant is a bit small and fills up quickly. Seating is long tables with benches. We went with our two kids and they loved it.
