East Kilbride (Scottish Gaelic: Cille Bhrìghde an Ear) is the largest town in South Lanarkshire in Scotland and the 6th largest settlement in Scotland. It was also designated Scotland's first new town on 6 May 1947. The area lies on a raised plateau to the south of the Cathkin Braes, about 8 miles (13 km) southeast of Glasgow and close to the boundary with East Renfrewshire.

Got there early as one grandson was starving. First in the door thought it was closed but no we were greeted by friendly staff who welcomed us in. The buffet did not start for about another half hour but said they would bring us a mix of starters & by the time we finished that the buffet was ready. A huge platter of various pakora & onion ring was put on our table. Everything was fresh & tasted great.When that was finished another sizzling dish was delivered with lamb marinated chops & chicken wings & drumsticks. The buffet was ready to start once we had completed that course.At least 6 curries to choose from, 3 different nan breads all cooked lovely & fresh. All in all the meal was delicious & we will certainly be back.

I find their food very basic and very dry..the chicken chow mien is basically all noodles and not much else and no sauce in it..very dry

Visited richmond on friday night with my wife for a pre theatre and although the food was once again very good there were a few issues, staters were good but when mains were served there was a long black hair on my plate, when this was pointed out to staff they asked if i wanted a new plate instead of giving me one straight away and no apology and no more rice offered as they binned what was on the plate, after all that meals were very good, when the bill arrived we had been charged for two bottles of wine instead of one when this was pointed out again no apology, so we wont be back which is disappointing as this is my favourite Chinese in EK, need to work on those customer service skills

Have previously given Nams a 5 star for their take away but on this occasion it was poor. Ordered a chicken satay and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. The fried chicken satay was so chewy and almost inedible that it tasted like it had been reheated from the night before. Terrible. The sauce was nice and spicy as expected but the chicken was such a let down. Hopefully it was a one off but so disappointed.

Decided to visit following a number of lovely takeaway meals from here. Greeted by the owner of the restaurant who was incredibly attentive and subsequently took our order and recommended a number of âoff the menuâ dishes which were amazing. Chilli chicken pakora are a must! Really jovial and friendly atmosphere with attentive staff to look after you. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We have just had the pleasure of visiting Punjabi Tadka in East Kilbribe: the welcome we received was exceptional - this followed up by first class, attentive service throughout.The food was exceptional... Chandri chilli chicken & Chicken Pakora, followed by a top class South Infian garlic chilli & Chicken Tikka. Naan bread was HUGE and everything was cooked to perfection.The staff at this restaurant should be proud of themselves - this is how it should be done! Thank you.

went here with friends on Friday night. It is s smallish restaurant with only about 15 tables but it didn't seem as crowded as it has in the past. Good menu with lots of choice. We fancied trying a bit of as many things as possible so both couples ordered the taster menu at just shy of £40 per couple. For that you get 2 starters of your choice followed by 3 smaller portions of curries (not all on the menu are up for selection) one rice and one nan. Between the 4 of us we had 4 starters, 6 curries and 2 nans and rices. Food was very nice. The dips which came with the starters are amazing. We had a goat dish as one of our mains - well worth trying - very tasty. The curries were a reasonable size - enough for the 4 of us - we had a doggy bag to take away what was left. The bill was not much shy of £100. Service was good and prompt. Would recommend.

Normally we eat out in the city, however found this place by accident several months ago and have been back a few times since for lunch or dinner.Great food, great service, with very helpful staff, very reasonable prices. Very nice ambience day or night.We are used to paying much more in the city centre, and this place is great value for money for the superior quality of food.
