We met friends there and had a great lunch. I had the nachos and they were super. Homemade potato chips with beans, pulled pork, salsa, cheese, green onions, and probably other stuff. It was more than enough for 2. Others had sandwiches and one had ribs & wings which she took the ribs home. Good portions and reasonable prices. We would go there again.

For our family reunions we order several pizza's for the first night to make it easy as people arrive at different times. We picked Papa Chubby's to help us out this year. 7 different pizzas including one gluten free were called in mid afternoon while we were still all on the road. Sometimes this can be risky hoping they will get it right & be timely on availability. Papa Chubby's hit it out of the park. On time, priced reasonably, got each one right and they were fantastic!

We were wonderfully surprised to be able to enjoy fine dining outdoors at the Windrose Marker 26. You can also have a great dinner inside the restaurant. But for those perfect evenings, we would recommend asking for an outdoor table. We had a great waitress and the staff was very attentive. In the past, the steaks might have been larger then this year and the presentation might have been a little nicer. All in all it was a great evening.Hi miriamt660-Thank you so much for your review. We just had dinner at JJâs at the Copper Pot. Excellent Lobster bisque. Steak had a compound garlic butter that was fabulous. The house salad dressing is so flavorful that people were buying it to take home. Keith is skilled behind the bar and demonstrated mixology beyond pour liquor into a glass. Non smoking is appreciated as well. We will be back and recommend you try it I appreciate your kind words. Our salad dressing and house seasoning are popular items to purchase as gifts or to enjoy at home. Keith is pretty awesome and I'll make sure he gets wind of this great review. This was our first time here and it was really good. Our kids loved all of the activities! Jenga, washers, and volleyball were their top favorites. The food was good. We had a variety of food; pizza, fish sandwich, nachos, and cheeseburgers. We would come here again!

Shrimp Daddy's is one of our favorite spots at the Lake of the Ozarks. The fish po' boy is one of the best fish sandwiches I've ever had, and my husband said the same thing about his shrimp po' boy. The lagniappes are addictive, and I don't usually even like sweets. They get super busy on the weekends at dinnertime, so get there early unless you want to wait an hour or more. This recent 4th of July weekend, we walked in at 4:30 and the place was empty, but it was full by 5:00.

We were here three different times throughout Bikefest weekend. We watched two different bands, as well as having supper in the dining room. Our food in the dining room was good. The drinks outside while watching the band could have been stronger (or cheaper), but I guess you are paying extra for being right on the water and for the bands they bring in. We will be back, it's a great atmosphere.

We stopped here for lunch on a Monday. Not crowded but had live music. Good view of the lake, good service and your typical food. Nothing stood out as above excellent in the food department but was satisfactory for what I expected. I could see this being a great environment on a busy day!

Spouse and I celebrated our 57th anniversary here last week. Staff was wonderfully accomodating since we were a few minutes early for dinner. Terrific view of the lake from several tables. Service was above reproach, staff was very attentive, catering to our every wish. My salmon was outstanding, spouse thought her marsala was a little dark but still very good - excellent wine. We were too full for desert. Love Ruthie D's, we'll be back.

We are huge steak fans so our expectations are very high. Great food. Great music. Great service. Outdoor seating with romantic music. The owner visits every table. You wonât be disappointed. We have never had a bad experience here. If you want romantic and exquisite, you should try this place. Oh, and by the way, homemade dressings for salad. Fresh bread. Wine is not overpriced. Quaint setting. On the water. Donât fall for commercialized restaurants.Love this place!
