We just came back from the Tap House and I was definitely disappointed in our experience. First the service was not very good. Our waitress was not able to answer some basic questions about the menu and drinks. Also, wouldn't say anyone was overly friendly or welcoming. Beer - They had a decent beer menu with both craft and regular beer options. Nothing overwhelming or jumping out as spectacular, just kinda average. I thought the prices for the craft beer was too high, ie a local brewery run of the mill IPA was $8. Food - we got the nachos as an appetizer and once again nothing special, i would say even a little below average. Sizzling steak and roasted pork sandwiches were pretty good though with the roasted pork being the best. All in all I would just have to say very average and not a place I would see my family going back to. Also it is on the louder side. We expected it to be loud and actually prefer places like this with our young kids. Just throwing it our there to make sure people aren't looking for a quieter place. Maybe I just had high expectations but it was on the disappointing side.

There are many diners and restaurants on the Jersey Shore which serve breakfast; but, most are not very memorable. Marigold Market and Cafe is the exception. They offer a variety of breakfast choices, which are creatively constructed, that go well beyond the standard pancakes and eggs offered at most other restaurants. The items that I have tried so far have all been flavorful and well executed. The service was also excellent. For example, I never had to track down the wait staff to get more coffee. All things considered, I thought that the prices were reasonable for the quality provided. I look forward to returning to sample more of their menu.

We ate here twice over two days during a visit to spring lake. The cafe has a good atmosphere and the staff were friendly. We came in for a snack on one day which consisted of granola and yoghurt and a banana nut muffin that was grilled so was nice and warm. We ate breakfast here the following day and had a simple breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast and pancakes and bacon and eggs. The food was nice, not amazing but it satisfied us both. The banana muffin from the previous day was delicious though!! Thank you for this review! Qe are glad you loved us and took the time to share your dining experience on TripAdvisor! We look forward to seeing you again soon!

While visiting Spring Lake on Wednesday, April 10, Larimar was recommended to us. We were truly thrilled by, not only the ambience and decor of the restaurant, but also but by the superior rare professionalism and service of the owner, John, and his assistant. The hors dâoeuvres, entrees and desserts were beautifully presented and delicious! My favorite was the Passion Fruit Crême Brûlée. Our sincere thanks to all.

Came for lunch, their specials are very reasonable for the amount of food you get and the service is excellent. Have not come back in for dinner for awhile, I find the dinner the same size as the lunch but they charge so much more that I think they should adjust either the serving size or the price a little. I have also had the salmon over salad on another trip also was very good.

Heard about Rays from a friend who told us about Lobster Sunday.Had dinner with friends and we werenât disappointed.Two of us had the lobster which you can get stuffed or not.I had the seafood fra diovlo which was delicious.Try the artichokes as an appetizer which come in a franchese style.Also the mussels in a white sauce delicious.Its a byob which is nice.Staff very friendly and Ray spent sometime talking with us.Will be back.

Went here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant on the Avon Boardwalk that serves a great seafood dinner! Most boardwalk restaurants offer typical boardwalk fast food, this is not one of the those places!First of all it is located inside the Avon Beach Pavilion on the boardwalk with absolutely great ocean and beach views!Second of all, the food is fantastic without being pretentious! We shared their sangria marinated watermelon salad which was refreshing and savoury!For my main course I had the flounder sole franchise with linguine, delicious!The staff is professional, friendly and attentive.Lastly, as mentioned earlier, the ambiance of the surf and beach adds tremendously to the experience!Only a couple minor dings. First it is a BYOB establishment and they do not advertise that on their website, but easily rectified by a quick drive to Bradley Beach for wine or beer. Secondly, they do not accept reservations. It is a first come a first come, first on the list for the restaurant: which is a testament to their service and food! Lastly, they are only a seasonal establishment opening on Motherâs Day and closing the week after Labour Day.Great experience and hope to return this weekend.Thumbs up!

If you're looking for breakfast options that you can't find on every menu in every restaurant, then Meemom's is the place for you. The restaurant offers numerous interesting and mouth-watering options in the French toast arena, along with more traditional breakfast fare.I had the Pinocchio (strawberry French toast with strawberry mascarpone and pistachios) and my partner ordered the Black Forest French toast. Both were excellent, especially the Black Forest. Meals at this restaurant are sizable, hot, fresh, and very well made.Service was friendly and attentive, too. All around, this was a terrific place for us to have tried on a whim, and definitely, we will be back for more!Thanks so much for the high grade and great review! We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our seats, and the food was very good, as well as reasonably priced. My wife had shiitake and oyster mushrooms sauce with breast of chicken with risotto and I the salmon. Excellent! Crab cakes for an appetizer. Awesome! Great ambiance, great service, great food. Consistently good. 4th time there. BYOB. Highly recommended.
