Wonderful steak and seafood! Our favorite appetizer is Firecracker Shrimp which is fried shrimp with a sweet Thai sauce on a bed of slaw - perfection! Great atmoshphere, inside and outside dining areas. We have always had great food and great service!
The food is excellent....my husband enjoyed a steak and I the crab cakes. I liked the menu especially because there were several items on the appetizer list that made a good entree. We went during the week and did not need a reservation, but I think on Fridays & Saturdays it would be a good idea. Service was friendly & prompt. Upscale food in a casual setting.

In town for the weekend and came across this place. What a surprise. The bacon wrapped scallops in the mixed seafood grill will melt in your mouth. The shrimp diablo is fantastic. Service is attentive and will make great suggestions. Thank you Dannette, we're glad you enjoyed the scallops and diablo's! Don't forget to try the our Home-Made Bread Pudding the next time you visit!Joe Stewart GM

Great food, friendly people, casual atmosphere and lakefront location are what make River City Grille a favorite spot for the folks in Marble Falls and Highland Lakes.
Had the Hatch green chili chicken with corn. It was very good. The breading was made with potato chips...very crunchy. I really liked it. Only disappointing part was the salad.Thank you for your review. Glad to hear you enjoyed the Paul's Chicken. Hope to see you again soon!

Russo's has always been our #1 destination for great food, service, and atmosphere. I can honestly say we have never had anything but great food. The owners, John and Di Russo are always there to insure nothing but the best. You will not be disappointed.

First the positives - some very creative dishes with lots of touches on each plate. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Limited wine selection but some are reasonably priced. Now the negatives - the night we were there only a three course prix fixe menu was available for $64 pp. which was explained to us when we arrived. The egg toast which is $5 extra was nondescript. My wifeâs main, which was duck, was chewy and bland. Although to be fair, this resulted in all our three extras being comped. One of the dessert options was a cheeseboard at an extra charge of $4. There were three types of cheese, each barely a tasting. At this price point and with the ânouvelle cuisineâ approach of a little quantity of food on each plate, tablecloths would be nice.Iâd give it another try, but I might have a snack before going.

We d coded to give the restaurant a try after reading good reviews and we were not disappointed. We were promptly seated, the place was clean and busy. The Mac and cheese was to die for, tasty crawfish in a delicious well seasoned Mac and cheese. The onion rings were tasty as well. The red beans were not to our liking, but that is just a matter of taste and not seasoned the way we like. The shrimp and grits was a huge serving of grits with sautéed onions, red and green peppers, jalapeño and at least ten tender shrimp. My husband enjoyed the fried chicken and we took a piece of key lime pie home. The pie was more of a cheese cake and it was just ok. I definitely plan on returning to try the gumbo and other dishes.

Noon Spoon Cafe has been open for 9 years and serves delicious soups, fresh salads, quesadillas, baked potatoes and daily specials to name a few for lunch. The lunch menu is large with plenty of choices for vegetarians, carnivores and gluten free options.
So, a German chemical/electronics expert, two travel savvy RNs and the reviewer walk into a cafe right about lunch close, and... wow, what a treat! The Noon Spoon opened wide the hospitality door and settled significant appetite differences swiftly, smoothly, and with classic Texas charm. Sandwiches, both Chicken and Beef, were grilled and very good. The stuffed tomato/avocado duo filled the plate and the bill for very, very good chicken salad. The Spicy Carrot soup was 2x just right, the zing and the vegetable components blended beautifully. Chips and salsa were what theyre supposed to be in S TX, crunchy fresh and just salty enough for one part, fresca y delicioso for the other. Coffee? Why, yes, thank you, 3 newly brewed cups at past 2 pm with speed and a smile from Nadine, our hostess. Thats 3 for one guest, and more was available. The only alas part of this fine luncheon visit was the greedy appetite of the days previous customers who had the bad taste to devour a days worth of Blackberry Cobbler by 1:30. The horror! We forgive them ...perhaps. Find this tiny charmer just off 281 and you will have found a happy place for your and your companions taste buds.

The Hill Country's best BBQ! Beer and wine sold. Indoor and outdoor seating. Dine in or drive through!
Lunch time visit. Our friends recommended this place. Small cafe, customer places order of plate with sides or sandwich. Condiments are on a side table. Drinks are obtainable from machine. There is a rumor that Willy Nelson eats here.

Had lunch here yesterday (4/18) . Started with the fried pickles and jalapenos . Huge basket full of delicious fried pickle and jalapeno slices with a dipping sauce. Highly addictive. We couldn't stop eating them . Tried the Electric Jellyfish IPA . Very good and my CFC sandwich was very tasty . We just enjoyed sitting out on the patio and chiling . Great place . Will return . Our server, Joseph, did and excellent job of attending to our needs .

Everything was as promised; wonderful. An excellent selection of sides (including their famous tater tot casserole, pinto beans, cobblers, and seldom seen butter beans.). Their meat selection was similarly diverse. Brisket (wet or lean), baby back ribs, beef ribs, pork belly, pork loin, chicken, sausages, etc. My wife deemed it the best beef rib she's ever had, and also commented that the chicken was some of the moistest smoked bird she's tasted.I also have to give a shout-out to the staff, who were super friendly and informative to this first time customer. They give good information on all the options and walk you through the broad array of items. You order meats by the pound or half pound, but they didn't balk at letting us try even smaller amounts. We were made to feel as welcome and at home as they seasoned veterans around us. Go early if you want the beef ribs, those sold out fast on both our visits. Its about 40 minutes out of Austin. The first half is a bit traffic, but then you get out into the hill country a bit more and its a pleasant drive.
