Best sandwiches I have ever had. They also have great customer service and great atmosphere. They serve breakfast and lunch. And have daily specials. They are open Monday thru Saturday and serve waffles, blueberry muffins, cinnamon rolls, fries apple pies and much more... they also serve sandwiches, boars head meats and cheeses by the pound, and have cakes, pies, cupcakes, brownies, peanut butter bars, smoothies, lattes, hot chocolate, fraps, chai, etc. they are the best bakery cafe in town. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to who ever would want to eat great food. Ps. They also offer car hop service and have occasional cruise-ins.

In town for the NASCAR race at Martinsville. I like to find local places to eat and I am particularly fond of BBQ, so I couldn't resist Pigs R Us (aka The Checkered Pig).I ordered the two meat platter with pork and brisket. I was skeptical about brisket, because usually East coast BBQ places are not real good with brisket.Well this place is!! Some of the BEST brisket I've had since I was in Kansas City.The platter came with French Fries and really good hush puppies. A wide variety of sides are available. I chose Baked Beans and macaroni salad.The macaroni salad was a bit nondescript for me. Probably wouldn't order it again. The baked beans were good, but they tasted a lot like canned baked beans.However, the brisket and pork more than made up for the sides.It was EXCELLENT!!Kelli was my server and she did a great job explaining the four sauces on the table.Give it a try. EXCELLENT BBQ

Typical fried sea food restaurant. Although they do offer broiled but it took a lot longer.I would suggest the Flounder, Oysters, or Catfish. I've had them all and was pleasantly surprised at the flavor. ( got Scallops once and they had NO flavor at all ) Usual sides of cole slaw,fries, and hush puppies. Nice clean restaurant with casual atmosphere. VERY busy at lunch AND dinner but plenty of seating. Price is very affordable and lots for your $. Nice helpful wait staff and usually short waiting time. Will definitely re-visit !!!

Subway is one of my favs. Good and fresh veggies and sub rolls. This location provides easy access and parking. Exxon station next door - bright and clean environment. Food stations clean and sparkling. Steady traffic but fast service always. The BLT is my all time favorite and peanut butter cookie for dessert! Yum!

We visited Martinsville for a family wedding and had supper at Third Bay Cafe. We started with the crab cakes which were outstanding and we are from the seafood capital; Boston. I liked the spicy dipping sauce. I had the the shrimp and grits, and mom had the salmon. We also had the filet and hamburger; all were delicious. If bread pudding is on the menu; it is a must have. My husband still talks about it and traveling back to order another dish. We met the owners and they were super sweet and inviting. If you are in the area, make sure you stop by! You won't be disappointed!!!!

People find this restaurant that you cannot see from the street...Nice find...We were with a group of people traveling on a trip. Wild Magnolia had plenty of seating for our party.Our service was very good; the owner came out to check on us. It was hamburger special day, but many people tried a variety of things. They have a bar and plenty of parking. Nice lunch!

Wendy's have great salads. When we travel, we tend to eat more of them than usual. These are fresh salads for a reasonable price. I had the apple pecan chicken salad.This Wendy's was very clean and the staff was courteous and effecient. This was a quick travel break for something healthy.

Walked in a little after 8 pm friday only to stand at counter watching the employees ignoring me. I clearly made eye contact with each one only to see them keep doing whatever it was they were doing....which in some cases was still nothing....all the time without an acknowledgement if my existence. After driving 4 hours unexpectedly with 5 teenage boys I was not in the mood but just to tired to make a fuss. Once someone finally came to help me she was pleasant and took my order. The food was average but to be expected at that point....should have held out for chic filet:(

Last summer we lost our beloved Welch Corgi and after a number of months without a dog, my wife talked me into getting another one. After careful research, we found a reputable breeder in Ridgeway and contracted for one of her puppies. Last Sunday marked our second trip up to meet the Puppy and our first time dining at Clarence's.From the reviews, it came very highly recommended and we found out why.Walked in around 11:00 am on Sunday Morning and they had a very good crowd. Still they seated us very quickly and our server was there in less than a minute.She took our beverage ordered and was back in just a minute. Very expansive menu and it took us a little more time to go over it. In addition to the regular menu, they also have the daily specials one of which is a choice of a meat along with three side items. Not just a few items either but more like seven or so choices of main meal and probably 15 or 20 choices of different sides.When she came back, we had had both decided on Daily Specials.My wife took a Chopped Steak with Gravy and for the three sides, Corn, Fried Squash and Bread Pudding.My choice was Chicken and Dumplings, Mashed Potatoes, Tossed Salad and also Bread Pudding.While we waited, my wife went to the ladies room to wash her hands and our meals arrived before she got back.In other words, they have this service aspect down to a science.She enjoyed everything about her meal and as for myself, everything was great although the salad and in particular the tomato was a bit bland but considering that this is April, what can I expect.Both of us found our lunch outstanding. Chicken and Dumpling can be problematic because in many case, you end us with a rubbery mass. Not here. Good texture and taste with plenty of meat.Portion sizes are such that you are not going home hungry and all of this for only $7.00. Best value I have found in a long time.Atmosphere is a nice family diner . Everyone is very friendly including the other patrons and you feel immediately welcome.We have one more trip to Ridgeway and that will be next month to pick up the puppy and take him home and we will definitely be stopping here for lunch.Highly recommend to all.
