After travelling the beautiful south of India with it's delicious food for more then 3 weeks, we wanted to taste some European cuisine finally again.We found this pearl via Google. We arrived at 6 pm, the manager, who is really a good host, showed the menu as well as the daily specials (fresh seafood and lamb).Since we are Vegetarians, we stayed with the menu. Starting at 250 RS. we took the veg Burger and for 300 RS. one of the veg. Pasta dishes.We had a homemade ice tea ( jaggery as sweetener instead of refined sugar) and a peanut butter/banana shake (yummy!) as drinks. 150 RS. each.Since Pronto Bistro has a couple of games available, we played Uno for some 15min. until our food was served.The kitchen is very clean (the cleanest one in India I've seen), the chef will cook ala minute, which means everything is very fresh cooked only when ordered and not prepared in the morning and kept warm all day.The veg Burger (homemade whole-wheat Burger buns) came with fries and an egg-free mayonnaise (very thoughtful again) and tasted really good.The pasta was really awesome. Penne, tomatoes, olives, mangetouts, cauliflower etc. and just the right amount of melting parmesan cheese mixed with fresh Italian herbs like basil and thyme in a little bit of olive oil. Served with homemade focaccia!We loved it!As desserts we had the recommendation from the manager, three little bowls of fresh baked cake and a little scoop of ice cream. Again a perfect combination.We also orderer the cheesecake- quite different from the ones I know, but nevertheless very tasty. So as we were talking to the chef, he told us he learned in Switzerland and worked in Montreux and Zurich and also in beautiful Havelock Islands before.Then he brought us an amuse gueule, a little okra served with lime. Also very good.We finished with an Italian Expresso, served with an extra pot of hot milk. (One Italian moka pot is serving two people).We ended up with some 1.400 RS. bill. Which is quite a lot of money in India, but considering being on Andaman Islands and having super fresh organic and delicious dinner, desert, drinks and coffee, it is a real bargain.I fully recommend this place, but be one time, because at around 8pm this place will attract more people.

u get the best burgers and wraps here.It is a very small but hygienic cafe. There is no hand wash area which is the only poor thing about this cafe.
the munching man...is as good as its name. its a great place, though its still coming up. the menu, for a place like Port Blair is elaborate and its VALUE FOR MONEY! The kitchen and area is super clean & dont miss KEEMA PAAV & BURGER!
