Had been a year ago and been disappointed. This time service was very good and that made a difference. Ordered the oyster sampler and should have stopped there. It really was done right. Four of each type. Really great toppings. Served hot and just right. The salad was great before our fried oyster plate and the fried ouster and shrimp. We asked for lightly breaded and that was done. The oysters and shrimp were just perfect. The French fries were also. Throughly enjoyed our early dinner and would go back.

Knew it was a meat & 2 or 3, but wasn't aware of the cafeteria style. Food was nice and hot, with plenty of selections. Reasonably priced, compared to others restaurants in this community. Loved the jalapeno cornbread muffins. Portions could have been a bit larger, but could have more to do with the line personnel than differences. Will have to try again on a different day and time. Great home cooking!

Took my Uncle and my friend to a casual lunch. Stopped in for an early lunch and was seated right away. Staff was friendly and efficient. We were in no hurry and wanted to talk and were not hurried or rushed. Each had different entrees and all were good and appealing. very good choice for a chain restaurant in that area.

I stop in Jacks often in the mornings on my way to hunting club. If I am going in for a sit down meal I get the breakfast special but if I am running late I go thru the drive thru and get biscuits and sausage and coffee. They are always fast.

We had to make an unexpected trip to fix our son's car and were starving, it was about 9:45 on a Thursday night and we went through the drive thru with 2 orders of fries, a swiss mushroom burger and an Angus wrap and was ask to pull aside for a minute, 20 minutes later my husband finally gave up and went inside and had to wait an additional 10 minutes to get our order. (I think they just fogot us or didn't care) If we hadn't already paid for the food and hadn't been starving we would have just left.

We visited on a Sunday night after 10 PM. The service was great. The food was freshly cooked. I do no know what more you would want. The restaurant appeared clean. Both waitress and cook asked if everything was good. The kids liked their food and ate it all. This place is so close to our house, many times we forget about. I would offer the opinion that this is Pinson's finest, sit down service, late night restaurant.

This is by far the best Jacks in the whole chain of their restaurants. Excellent manager, Sonya Connors, leads a group of friendly, helpful staff of employees. Highly recommend if you're in the Pinson area. Easy to see why this restaurant has a huge number of "regulars" who eat there 4 to 5 times a week.

Kenâs BBQ was a good stop on our drive to Birmingham. They offered great BBQ and friendly service. We went during the Alabama game and enjoyed watching it on one of the TVs on the walls. My husband said the ribs could have had more meat on the bones, but he enjoyed the rib sauce better than the sauce on the pork or chicken. Agree with other reviews that the greens and beans are too spicy for kids, but our toddler loved the Mac and cheese! Recommend their sweet potato pie for dessert!
