We always stop to pick up a sub when we're hungry for lunch in Middlebury. Subs on homemade rolls and great quality meats. Great salad options and good service too.

One of the reasons for staying in Middlebury was to have a sample or 5 of the fantastic brews OCB offer. Great tap room, staff are fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. The Seasonal pumpkin ale, coffee porter were truly awesome, and I really don't normally drink dark brews.Great choice of Tee shirts and other merchandise as well.Well worth checking out if you are in the area. A local bus from Middlebury stops outside.

Spent 2 nights in town at a B&B. Wanted to eat dinner one night at a local spot. Coriander was nice spot for a good quality dinner. Very small place, seems to be place for locals which is fine. Several tables by the window. Food was very good, service very attentive service. Mahi Mahi and Steak tips were excellent. Solid choice for a nice couples dinner, would not recommend for families.

The pies look amazing, I wish I had dessert. I would define it as the Vermont version of Cracker Barrel. The mac & cheese were pretty good. It is stuck in time as far as decor and cooking style.

After traveling quite a distance to go to one of the few good restaurants left in Vermont, we were disappointed to find that the quality of the food we ordered had definitely declined. We have frequented this restaurant 2-3 times a year over the past ten and never had a bad meal until this one. My salmon was crispy around the edge and had been reheated several times. And my husband said his was just awful. They literally took forever to serve our meal, even though we were there well before the dinner crowd. People in adjacent tables ordered, were served and left before ours even came. One lady beside us had sent her steak back three times..

Weâve been here a few times, actually anytime we travel up this way we make a point to eat here. The food is amazing! Everything is fresh and tastes soooo good. This particular trip we were on a tight schedule and werenât sure if weâd make it there for dinner. We called at 4, knowing they open at 5 and the young lady who answered was fantastic. She understood my situation and put my order in so that when we walked through the door at 5 our pies went in the oven. We had a table ready with waters, right by the oven. By 5:15 we had beautiful pies in front of us! Awesome experience, Iâd highly recommend. If I could give it more stars I would!

We stayed at Swift House Inn (Gate House), but walked up to the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast the next day. Dinner was particularly delightful, with an interesting menu and a well stocked bar. I like beer, and they had a nice assortment from which to choose. Service was excellent and professional. You can visit even if you don't stay in the Inn, but I'm not sure how you would know it was there since I didn't see a prominent sign.Bartenders Tom and Hopa keep keep a large assortment of beers and beverages at the bar! Hey we just one the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence, only 3 awards given in Vermont. Great recognition by our "Wine Guy" David and Chef Rob's food!
